Buckley was 21, he’d played 3 years of Senior Football and had already won a Magarey Medal (the equivalent of a Sandover, VFL Brownlow) when he arrived in Brisbane. He also only went to Brisbane on the proviso that he could leave after one season. Let’s see what JHF is like in another 2 years…….

That whole ice bath thing is laughable. It’s a job right? People can opt out of shit at work. Sure, he faces the consequences of his actions, but he can’t be forced into something he doesn’t want to do.

Might be the same at Port Adelaide too, neither of the two clubs ever had the attention of a #1 before.

The case against Fabian Francis was over 10 years ago……. the woman, who trumped up a case against Francis had been divorced from two years earlier (2007) was a policewoman……. despite even the children , his first wife and his current wife (Jason’s Mum) testifying in favour of Fabian and scant evidence…… the Judge believed the statement of a policewoman.….. Since then that policewoman has been sacked for corruption and her links to a well known “outlaw” motorcycle gang…….. Jason took his Stepfather’s name by his own choice because of the love and support he’s had for most of his life from Fabian.(this doesn’t happen to too many Stepfathers) Last I heard Fabian was working as a councillor.
