Showdown week would be one of my first choices! I'm Brazilian. Your worst cannot be worse than here.

My doubt would be on the good side, actually. The electricity in the air of Porto Alegre during derby days is unutterable. The whole city feels it, even those who do not care about the game at all.
That's why you wont like it.
It's pathetic and spiteful instead of exciting and exhilarating.

Was hoping to get to Alberton on Saturday but realised I have a family member 30th birthday that night. It’s a 90’s themed show so I suggested to my wife we go as Lorena and John Bobbitt.

She thought if the young kids that would be there and put a big cross through that idea.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Crows quietly dump the stare down. But then again if the stare down is Nigel's brainchild it could make a come-back.
I hope that if it comes back in any form, a s****** loudly reverberates throughout any stadium at which they are stancing.

Maybe we can expect a haka?

Jesus how far were you willing to go with the costume?

Really how are they going to proceed with this in the future?
They will never do it again.

And then they'll do what they always do. Invent a self-serving narrative.
'There wasn't a staredown. What are you talking about. that's just bullshit port power supporters made up because they... lolol119tarps'
Then stick with their story forever just ignoring all evidence that contradicts their narrative.

You can guarantee there will be a Customer or two trawling from end to end trigger finger poised on the iPhone in hopes of unacceptable Prot crowd behaviour
Guaranteed, it'll be filmed in portrait view and then on the news with a Channel 7 logo watermark scrolling across the middle.

Actually, I can confirm that Channel 7 will be attending the game with a view to telecasting the proceeding.

Strangely though, management have decided that it would be in their best interests to point their cameras away from the field of play, and instead towards the grandstands and assembled crowd.

They have also contracted a number of individuals to dress in primary coloured clothing, asking they subtly poke the well dress patrons in an attempt to extract a aggressive response.

Money well spent for Channel Crow!

Yeah the fact that they wont take vision of the game would have nothing to do with foxtel having the broadcast rights.

*bashes head on brick wall*

WHO’S IN CONTENTION?

Steven Motlop is available for selection after overcoming a leg knock, which he suffered in the two-point loss to West Coast in Perth in JLT 1.

Chad Wingard, Todd Marshall and Tom Rockliff will be assessed by medical staff after tomorrow’s main training, after all recovering from minor niggles.

Kane Farrell, Jake Patmore and Joel Garner have continued to impress since being drafted by the club, and will be in the selection frame.
