Day Write-Up: Victory Turns to Ashes
The citizens of Shermer had been through hell and back, hunting wolves and dodging chaos in a desperate bid to reclaim their town. Today, they finally cornered their ultimate quarry: Ferris Bueller, the cunning Alpha of his wolfpack. After days of dodging suspicions and weaving elaborate lies, Ferris's luck had finally run out.
Ferris’s Final Act
As the citizens surrounded Ferris in the town square, he flashed his signature smirk, the kind of grin that had talked him out of countless detentions. “You’ve got it all wrong,” he said smoothly, hands raised in mock surrender. “I’m not the bad guy here. I’m Ferris Bueller—everybody loves me!”
Ferris glanced around, his charm faltering as the crowd’s resolve hardened. With no more tricks left up his sleeve, he finally dropped the act. “Fine,” he said, rolling his eyes. “You caught me. But hey, at least I made it fun, right?”
As the citizens hauled Ferris to the gallows, he gave one last sarcastic wave. “Life moves pretty fast,” he quipped. “And for me? It’s about to stop.”
With that, the Alpha was no more.
Cheers and Triumph
The crowd erupted into cheers, high-fiving and congratulating themselves on finally ridding Shermer of the Ferris Bueller wolfpack. “We did it!” a random citizen shouted, beaming. “We actually did it!”
“Justice!” yelled some other peanut, pumping their fist in the air.
For the first time in days, the citizens felt like they had won. They lingered in the square, laughing and recounting the wild turns of the game that had led them to this moment.
The Quiet Knife in the Dark
But amidst their celebration, someone else was quietly watching, his lips curling into a satisfied smile. Harry Lime, the Serial Killer, had been hiding in plain sight all along, letting the citizens and the wolves tear each other apart while he plotted his path to victory.
Now, with Ferris gone and the wolves wiped out, Harry knew one thing for sure: the citizens were defenceless.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Harry slipped away unnoticed, his work knife gleaming in his pocket. Tomorrow, there would be no one left to cheer.
Final Announcement
The citizens of Illinois have successfully lynched Gralin Ferris Bueller (Alpha), eliminating Ferris Bueller’s Wolfpack from the game!
BUT... Harry Lime (Serial Killer), having outlasted both wolves and townsfolk, emerges victorious in the end!
The town of Shermer has fallen to chaos, undone not by wolves but by the cold, calculating blade of one man’s ambition.
