People have always lied and spun to a degree, but there is no longer any shame. People like Musk can compare the ABC to Pravda, which is a ridiculous and embarrassingly ignorant statement, but get congratulated and cheered on by people who WISH it was true to justify their emotions. Its like a hysterical child lashing out and being seen as an 'alpha male' for doing so.

Joe was fine back in his original studio with his buddies talking shit. Fun conspiracies like Bigfoot, and ancient alien civilizations went well with the herbs they were smoking. His mistake IMHO was venturing into those subjects that we've all been warned about, politics and religion. Those are polarizing in the best of times, but add in the conspiracy climate these days = not good. Makes big money off it though.
I slowed down watching his vids when he went to new studio in LA, and rarely since he went to Texas. He's still listenable talking about music, mma, and fun stuff. Might have been boring to his since covid fans, but his shows with authors of history books are goods, particularly the ones on the West.
