Joe declined to have Zelenskyy on his podcast. He’s also been ignoring this Ukrainian boxer who’s requested to come on and educate him about his bullshit comments regarding the Ukraine war.
World chess champion and human rights chair Garry Kasparov also wants to go on Joe’s podcast and talk about the Ukraine war.
When’s the last time he’s had Dawkins, Harris, or Kulinski on? Won’t even mention Sam Seder’s name either. Why not have Destiny on? Or Bill Burr who he’s still friends with? What about Stanhope?
Seems to me that Joe doesn’t want to have people on that could push back against any of his right wing talking points.
I don’t buy his whole “I’ll talk to anyone about anything” shtick.

Well he's been audience captured in a way, probably exacerbated by Spotify. He gets a mega-payday from them and like a band that gets a hit or two, gets pressure to keep it up by reproducing the hit-making formula.(maybe, IDK how Spotify handle their content makers)
I'd bet his numbers are very healthy with his conservative to MAGA guests, but take a hit with more moderate or liberal ones. Even more so in SM.
I also wouldn't discount his neighbors down there in Texas or hanging with Dana and that crowd having some influence. Way back pre-covid, he had said he was friends with Alex Jones and supported him as Infowars being a performance or something like that.

He should hold more debates between people on opposite sides of the issues/spectrum (polically speaking) I think this would be a better platform for him and his audience
I think a pod with Wladimir Klitschko would be a big one surely, I'll find it weird if he doesn't get him on.
Which one? The boxer? It can happen in Joe’s studio.
Zelenskyy? Would have to happen in Ukraine so I can understand that but that’s not why Rogan said he wouldn’t talk to him.
Not to mention, Rogan might be going to mar a lago to talk with Trump which goes against “I only do podcasts in my studio” rhetoric.
That said, Kamala should’ve really done the rounds on podcasts like Trump did. You can see Zelenskyy at least sees the value in these formats and apparently will be taking with Lex.
Not sure it would’ve done much to move the needle but it wouldn’t have required much to swing back her way.
Just to put this in context it’s not just “the boxer”, Wlad Klitschko was the greatest HW (along with his brother) of his era.
So I’d be very surprised if Rogan wouldn’t jump at the chance to chat to him given his love of boxing, and would be interested in the reasons why.
Right. Sorry I knew he was a pro just didn’t know anything beyond that. But yeah if Joe is who he says he is, it should happen eventually. Wlad has been trying. It may yet happen.
