If you're found guilty you go to jail, if you're found innocent you're still known for being accused of it.

I know there’s been some cases in history of women falsely accusing men. But let’s not act like false accusations are happening at a common rate especially compared to the number of sexual assaults that occur daily.

I’m a guy but I’ve heard of a number of assaults through friends that have occurred where no one has gone to the police. These sexual assaults cover a wide range of things that happen. And I’m sure most women would either know of or had happen to them.

Sexual assault is one of the most underreported crime. From social stigma to the way their lives are pulled apart at court.

Look at Weinstein, R. Kelly, Spacey etc. these things are open secrets for years and take many many victims to come forward to get anything to happen.

The fact that 2 women of accused JDG of inappropriate behaviour makes me wonder if there are more that haven’t come out. He might not have done it but often where there is smoke there is fire.

We are talking about establishments that sell liquor (which includes nightclubs and bars) - and by law, yes, they must have surveillance and abide by minimum standards regarding quality, frame rate, etc; and in many that I have been to, they have even invested in facial recognition technology (but this is not the minimum standard).

I have previously worked across a few medium to large hospitality groups with venues that run from small bars to large night clubs. Bars depending on size and council laws don’t need cctv at all, and many older nightclubs have the absolute bare minimum. I’m sure some places do have better systems, but many don’t, and that’s before we start talking about US regulations, which I imagine are not necessarily the same

Moreover, after an arraignment hearing, the only role police have is informing the public prosecutor that the alleged victim and/or her legal counsel have chosen to withdraw the related charge/s.

Its not the only answer.

Degoey’s last issue he was charged and the woman who made the allegation saw it through for more than 5 years.
On the day the case was to be heard the allegations were withdrawn.
That day.

I’m not gonna speculate cause thats all I’d be doing.
But the facts are she and the police took it to the steps of the court.
She never said he didnt do it.
He never said he didnt do it.
