Patty Cripps was absolutely magnificent today. We rotated everyone through him and noone was good enough to stop him getting the footy, standing up in the tackle and feeding it off.
Rather than choosing JDG to pot, we just need to acknowledge that he was too good.
Only thing I admire about the scum is one P Cripps, just a magnificent midfield specimen that bloke.

broke all the tackles but the most important one by Josh with 45 s to go. Iced the game.
He was bog ordinary. 16 disposals from 88% game time is a poor return from a midfielder.
He was absolutely brilliant in some big games when he was younger. Which makes it even more infuriating that he hasn't reached the levels we thought he would.
He didn't need to be best on or even one of our best, his last two games have been excellent. He just shouldn't be an absolute liability in his bad games.

We are a low possession side now. It's the impact the possessions have not how many. I remember the games when Pendles, Swanny and Beams would get 35 possies each and we'd lose to Hawthron every time.
The AFL tried its hardest to get the scum back into playing finals…..
He was on Docherty and Setterfield. Docherty had 29 and killed us and Setterfield had 24.
DeGoey just can't ask for the coin he does and perform that way in big games.
We were beaten by 50 in contested ball and he is our contested beast.
Having said this my original post was when I thought we would lose and absurdly we have come back and won so I really don't give that much of a toss right now.

But contested inside beast isn't his strength. His hands aren't that good. He's a bloke who can and often does break play open playing ahead of the ball. And he was one of the blokes who went through Cripps and one of the many who left their man in an inane attempt to tackle Cripps. That man then getting a handball from Cripps.

Not the AFL. Christian's initial decision can be viewed as the AFL. The tribunal and then the appeals tribunal are independent.
And I'm glad he played for two reasons:
1. I don't think he lined him up, just think he was slightly late in a contest and don't think blokes should be suspended for that.
2. We beat them, even with their best playing an absolutely incredible game.

Cripps is like a human truck, realistically 10 years ago would be a key forward he’s that big, De Goey albeit average today is different unit.
Can’t condemn on one poor game, he’s been very good lately.
Probably isn’t a natural midfielder in all fairness.
Besides he’s a more damaging forward than Cripps, so can hold that title.
Knockers being very harsh…
