Maybe they are looking at Mike Hunt....
Just curious on salems worth? Could he be a straight swap for Lewis? Similar player to hibbard who is going to Melbourne
I don't see how Lewis has less value than Deledio. You can't just send him to Richmond, they nominate a club and they get there. Will be a 3rd rounder at best.
Yeah....That's why Pickering made it public that he's on the market eh?
He'll be vetting a raft of offers on his mobile, right now as we speak.
Didn't play from round six due to a thyroid issue, came back into the VFL for a few weeks and back into the AFL for the last round of the season. No worries, he just couldn't get back in the senior team in the second half of the year
Outside players like Deledio, even coming off an injury season, are considered far more durable than the bash and crash types.I don't see how Lewis has less value than Deledio.
This guy lolQuite frankly Cyril, Smith or Gunston and maybe Bruest are the only players I'd contemplate a Hunt trade for. It's just not on.
No, he's had a thyroid problem hampering his season this year on top of his recent injury history. His handful of games at VFL level were returning from those health and injury concerns. He was arguably our best player in the horror show against Geelong in the last round. Next season at full fitness he's close to a walk up start and will be spending more time in the midfield. No worries, he just couldn't get back in the senior team in the second half of the year
Why. what makes them durable or better. + Lewis can play outsideOutside players like Deledio, even coming off an injury season, are considered far more durable than the bash and crash types.
You're going to be dissapointed
Such a ridiculous argument. Lewis is one of the most durable player's in the league.Why. what makes them durable or better. + Lewis can play outside
. . . . . . Lewis . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Deledio . . . .. .

Good postThis is pretty similar to Brian Lake. 30 years old and a year to run on his contract at the Western Bulldogs. One of the best defenders of the competition at the time. Offered a 3 year deal at Hawthorn.
Brian Lake and pick 27 for pick 21 and 41
Melbourne's pick 29 for Lewis and a 3rd rounder
Care to provide some reason or just make claims that posters are one eyed?Because you're exceptionally one-eyed.
Yes, O'Meara.Either way Hawthorn is coming out of this trade period with a player with speed.
Whether it's in the Lewis deal or not and you can bank it!
This guy lol
I agree, Hunt will only be traded if he asks to be traded. Which won't happen as he just a new contract.
****ing lolHunt signed the deal back in May after only playing his fourth game.

Would it surprise you that a 21-year old would accept any deal put on the table at that stage? Since then he's become a regular in the Dee's side (hasn't missed a game since he debuted) and had "one of the best 14 disposal games" ever according to commentators. You could argue that hewas unlucky to miss out on both a Rising Star nomination and the Best U/22 side.Hunt has more runs on the board now then when signed back in May and could easily be asking for more money/more secure deal than he's currently got.
I’ve also heard from a source that Hunt has had quite a change in his personal life with him becoming single mid-season after breaking up from his high school girlfriend who lived near AAMI Park? Maybe he will want to get start afresh and get away from the memories attached to her?
No, he's been with Melbourne from the rookie list and is highly regarded which would have been reflected in his contract.Hunt signed the deal back in May after only playing his fourth game.

We aren't giving him up.
Hawks supporters thinking they're any hope whatsoever of landing Hunt ****in lol
Agreed to a 3 year deal.
Gawn!
