That had want to be the writer taking liberties about Rachelle not committing to that contest. The club can't come out and hang him for that as well. Fmd.
He's had some shocking ducking the head mark attempts that were weak, but you could see what he was trying to do on the weekend imo. It didn't look great the way he reached for the ball, but if he'd collected it and spun the way he was trying to do, nothing would have been said imo.

I have no sympathy for a guy that changes his name to a guy that bashes women.
This is so disappointing by the club. One thousand times worse than any showdown loss. Poor Josh. I know the fans and members feel differently - now we can all ruminate on this for the next 7 months.

Not sure I can go on much longer with this club. I've put so much time & energy into it since it started. It's just so poorly run and will never be successful with these people there.
When our young guns used to be discontented and/or leave, we'd all pile on the player or manager for chasing money, being soft etc. Even though it was during our good/competitive seasons and there was some argument for keeping a steady 22, perhaps not playing kids every week etc.
We're now terrible, bottom 4, and mismanaging kids still. This season in particular has been very revealing.

It's just incredibly difficult to feel anything but disgusted at our club's 'culture'.
Laird just jogging by players who get the ball while making no effort to chase defensively? Team first!
Smithers being so ****ing terrible he feels the need to apologize to his teammates but gets to keep his spot? Team first!
Smithers and Tex not being able to run because their backs are ****ed, but still putting their hands up to play? Team first!
Murphy screaming at younger players in the SANFL because he wants to pad his stats to get back into the AFL side? Team first!
Let's be honest with ourselves, the club has zero desire to have a personality like Rachele's in the club, so they're gonna ****ing hammer him and hammer him until they destroy his confidence so bad he just goes into his shell. And then they're gonna wonder why he's playing so poorly.
Pretty soon we'll be hearing how the AFL vetoed a trade to the Suns because he'd be a bad influence on their group.
The only way to make some sort of statement is to cancel your membership. A lot of people say they will, but then don't (I understand why - fear of losing seats is the main reason).

at least with curtin we just didnt play him. we are seemingly trying to find more buses to shove rachele under. this is gutless crap.
We deserve anything bad coming our way.
Rachele’s next goal (I hope he goes) will be a mild affair.
Close, but mods being dropped in 98 finals and being shipped off to Freo will forever be the worst treatment of a player that carried the whole club on his back.
