Have been less invested in Freo this season which probably reflects the extended periods of hopeless footy we've dished up over the last 8 years outside of the first half of 2022.

This is definitely the straw that broke the camel's back for me in terms of Longmuir's tenure. Just an indefensible performance.

This season was not about results for me. It was about the style of play. I would have rather lost to Port and Carlton by 5 or more goals by trying to take the game on.

But nothing much has really changed with JL. There has maybe been a little bit more biting off the corridor kick, but overall the style of play is still ultra safe and boring. It's all JL seemingly knows, and it will never work ultimately.

His style of turgid play is mentally and physically draining. It's not sustainable over a season. It might deliver a handful of good efforts/wins over the season, but it will never win a flag.

The style of play over the last decade+ from ross lyon ball to this new version from JLo is just hard to watch. It's actually boring af. Watching harley reid play is more exciting.

They should sack JLo but I have little faith in the club leadership to actually hire anyone good. Did they even try and get hardwick?

This x 1000000. We will never earn respect us a club playing so defensively. We sure as hell wont win a flag playing so negatively either.
We put up with enough boring tripe at the end of Ross’s time here so Im not sure why we are putting up with the same boring game plan now

I felt the same last year, but have shifted more towards he could work. (Was ready t burn the club to the ground)

The players seem to want to play for him. (this is huge)
The game plan works, and the players understand it and stick to it.
We have previously beaten high class teams.

Yes, there's is still a lot of unknown, can it stand up for a season, can it stand up in finals. For now, for me, he's got the benefit f the doubt.

Tonight’s game is definitely on the coach. Sure it doesn’t help when you burn sitters but make a ****en statement when selecting players. I’m no JOM hater but he seriously doesn’t deserve to be selected in my opinion. We need a midfield bull, we got rag dolled by Yeo.
