I hope that's all it is. It's possible they were speculating rather than reporting too, I wasn't really paying attention to it until they said that.
He was definitely reading it off his screen. Edmund is an idiot. He just said the dogs would have no interest in getting pick 1 because it'd get eaten up by the JUH bid. I guess he's expecting they.... bid themselves?

More like Hawks take Saad while North take Caldwell.
Clubs won't pick up players who won't do a medical and talk about contract terms let alone pick up the phone when they call. If both Saad and Caldwell go to the PSD, Essendon will get Caldwell and we'll get Saad.

You might be surprised, Hawthorn are crying out for experience down back this season (thus Hartigan) and Caldwell would be a strong addition to North's young midfield.

If I was their list managers I'd pick them up in the PSD in a heartbeat, worst case scenario you trade them for draft currency at the end of the year, best case you convince them to stay.

Would you bet against Clarkson being able to convince Saad that he's capable of getting Hawthorn playing finals in the next 2 - 3 seasons again? I wouldn't.

Caldwell aint a coach?

Been a while since we've seen a player-coach, but he's been inspired by Rowell this season.
