Can you blame anyone when it comes to your club? Dodoro wants the world for your players but doesn't want to give up anything decent for players coming in. There is no way known that Fantasia holds more value than Caldwell.
What do you think Caldwell is worth?

A future second is better than the pick we look like getting from Fantasia.

But Fantasia is contracted. I'm led to believe contracted players are worth at least twice what an uncontracted player is
Yes, I'd have Caldwell's worth above Fantasia. Have you heard of the term "negotiation" before?

Also, since when do we not give up anything decent for players coming in? Gets an awful lot of deals done considering he's apparently the antichrist.

I don’t believe it’s the case and if anything it’s a bluff, I can’t recall the last time or at all when Essendon has tried the Jack Martin route.

Okay, honestly, when was the last time we didn't get the deal done for a player we were targeting? Josh Caddy. They were asking for Cale Hooker and pick 19. Regardless of the fact that we used 19 on Elliott Kavanagh and he was a bust, Cale Hooker is a far better player than Josh Caddy. The deal will get done.

We offered that. It wasn't enough.
