Where at any point did I say you can't have an opinion?

You can think Cornes is a dickhead or that McEntee should be delisted all you want. I think those things too. But this conversation started with a keyboard warrior claiming that a 300 game AFL career isn't that much of an achievement.

'Not much of an achievement' and 'isn't overly a remarkable achievement' are not the same sentence.

I don't reckon it's that's remarkable it just means you are durable, it doesn't necessarily equate to greatness.

I'd take 100 games from a Roger James over a Kornes type every day of the week.

I refuse to acknowledge 300 games played is a 'remakable achievement' when you have the likes of Kane Cornes, Marc Murphy, Nathan Jones, Scott Thompson, Nick Dal Santo, Drew Petrie, Kade Simpson etc in that group

Kane’s career CV is exceptional and he is still kicking goals off the field. I like him in the media, liked him as a player too because he got the absolute best out of himself. The hate on him is just weird, never ends either.

It feels like Port get spoken about in the footy media and even the general bigfooty threads more than they rightfully should for being the smaller South Australian based club. Perhaps Kane plays a big part in this?

Publicity, good and bad, is everything in the entertainment industry and Kane brings plenty to Port.

Yeah, agree. Say what we like about Kane, but there's no doubt he's building a pretty exceptional media career and profile.

There's no point in taking away from the successes of the Cornes family in their various pursuits, they clearly are very successful at most things they turn their hands to. The fact that they're all also massive dickheads is a separate issue.

Yeah see this is the bit I don’t really understand. Not sure what he does that people, especially port fans find so triggering.

He is pretty biased towards port in the media is that what we don’t like here? I don’t get it.
