an interested on looker noticed ian and ricky shiner at the euroa game on the weekend scouting for a new coach if avenel were going to be any good you would have to give them the arse from the club all together

Onto football...
Shaping up to be a cracker weekend of kdl footy with some evenly matched teams going head to head
My tips are:
Merrigum V Rushworth (35 pts) Rushy to close the door on VT
Lancaster V Yea (20 pts) Lancy to run the big boys down south off their feet
Girgarre V Nagambie (2 pts) The young Lakers to get up in a thriller
Violet Town V Undera (15 pts) Playing for pride now
Stanhope V Murchison (12 pts) Kellett on fire, will push a relaxed (not quite complacent) ladder leader
Ardmona V Avenel (lots) correct me if i'm wrong but avenel havent won in ardy for about 8 years, maybe more?

Would be lying if I didn't say I was impressed with some Rushy youngsters, but geographically it would be rather difficult as Im over an hour away and planning to move house hopefully by Xmas.

Next I'll be in for the Avenel job for christ sake!!!

Why not give us some accurate mail on the whole Pearce/Rattray thing we all keep hearing instead of ruining your Big Footy credability with this nonsens.

Hang on a sec showy#1 - i heard Sunday that a Avenel cricketer with ties at Euroa will be aggressively chasing some fringe Magpies to join the Swans next year. Avenel had the bye and Euroa was the closest GV game from memory so why get personal for no reason other than your own amusement?

Hard to take ur comments with any seriousness - why is it that no one has the balls to make such big comments under a username that they can be identified with? Air your dirty laundry within the club showy#1 - dont think it's fair or very respectful to the Avenel Football Club to continually go down this path.

S h i t showy#1 seems like you've got a serious beef with the shiners mate wanna let us know what happened?
Mate i've been involved with Avenel before and to be perfectly honest this family is all about the AFNC. They might have opinions that differ to other people but they're there for the club. If you've got such big issues with them you should take it up with them instead of like Doona2 said airing your dirty laundry here. Or Maybe get involved with Avenel on a committee level so you can do something constructive for the club instead of destructive!

Ok you blokes have a problem with the Shiners. has any of you done anything about it besides hiding behind your pot at the pub telling stories. Has any of you blokes joined together to try and better the club. If it's the fact that Ian is on the commitee, why don't you have ago next year and say we have enough people to cover the amount of stuff he actually does (which Clarkey has been learning this year). If the club is in such bad shape because of one man, it just goes to show the maturity of some of you blokes. You would rather whinge and say i'm not playing there because of so and so, why don't you say i'm playing with my mates and I don't care about anything else. It's just dissapointing.

Reading all this crap and the obvious backstabing going on who would want to seriously go there and mend these issues other than a local with good support? I can say here today that I have no interest whatsoever in coaching Avenel (sorry Mappo). Now that we're squashed that rumour, ya's can find someone else to talk about like Rattray and the Euroa targets he told me about on Sunday.

Better find a coaching gig though so that Joey's 'mutiny" has a club to play at

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't mappo play for avenel?? possibly a committee member?? fair chance he knows what he's about.
Also fairly certain that your not exactly shooting from high ground showy as your not playing at all atm?? how's the jaw?
by your reasoning only people playing at the club have a clue and yet you seem to beleive you know everything, yet you don't play.
