Was amazed at how hard Freo made it for the Demetriou Swans to get outside fifty after kick ins.

Lyon has them completely flooding so that nearly every player is within 60 metres of goal.

Guerra's ability to get through the flood will be a key driver of our success on Grand Final day.

Hoping he is able to spot up some targets, run the ball our and find a man on those slightly wider flanks than they have at Subi.

He could be the most important player in our team on Saturday.

That could get real ugly for them, really quick.

I wouldn't be as quick to leave Breust, Buddy, Hill, Popeye, IOmith & Cyril with too much room to work in when the ball flies over the back of that flood.

.

Which means that buddy, roughy and rioli should get a few one on ones if we move the ball quickly from defence to attack.
Hopefully it's a case of freo's greatest strength becoming its greatest weakness! Hopefully!
And FFS roughy you will be 1 on 1 with Zac. If you can't out muscle him or get away from him give it up.
Buddy don't wrestle McPharlin every time. His calf is stuffed. Run him around and in the end he won't be able to keep up!

Guerra had probably been the no.1 kick in player in the AFL over the last 6 years. He just doesn't waste the kicks and always spots up a target. We missed him so much in the 2012 GF. He'll find targets 99% of the time

Watch him lure everyone to the same flank & then go long down the middle with devastating effect. Suckling will be spewing this week of all weeks!

We need to do what we have been doing all year. Guys like Gunston and Smith have been making it their business to find space in the back 50 for a get out kick. We transition through floods well when we are on. We use a combination of short kicks and then handball and run out. It will take 2 -3 goals max with the full flood for Ross to think about plan b.

This - people underestimate how much we missed Goo and his kicking (+hardness) in the GF last year. If he played it could have turned the game our way imo.

He had a cracker against Geelong yet didn't get many plaudits and I expect he'll have a cracker tomorrow. Hope you have a blinder Brent!
