Neale is a good player but I didn't think his 2018 season was anything to write home about (though I concede he will probably win the Doig anyway so I'm probably in the minority) . Also, he isn't a saint or incredible role model off field like some claim so I'm not too worried about losing his leadership.
Think losing Neale to get Hogan is a win for us.

Haha. Love it. It's been a surprisingly refreshing change of pace dealing with freo fans. Majority of the conversations have been amicable.

We'd get a similar pick next year if we lost him as a free agent. Why accept it now? May as well just dig in.

Anyway, deal should be some version of us giving up pick 5 and a second (either this year or a future) which gets you a deal with port or adelaide for 2 first rounders. Maybe we get a third back from someone if they are nice.

Not sure I agree with that. Lobb is a bit over rated for mine.
Same, if I was asked who was our best player this year I'd say Mundy or Langdon. If not for injury Walters and Fyfe would have rounded out the top 4

I've always been of the opinion on here that he isn't as good as he's made out to be. No need to get insecure about a player you don't have yet over a few comments of the minority.

Neale started slow, took him till about a third of the way through the season to really hit his straps, but from then he was up and about, and especially after Fyfe went down, was our best along with Mundy.
Maybe I'm judging neale on dream team scores but I never considered getting him in this year. If you asked me about his year I would answer the same as freos- meh. He's good but didn't catch my eye this year
salty much? you come across as a bitter poster. Sure, I post contentious stuff but it doesn't take away from the fact I have sources you could only ever wet dream about.
Well one thing he has in his favour is that he's an incredible overhead mark for his size. Probably the most underrated part of his game but one of the few players I feel confident winning a 1 on 1 in the air.

They're not going to do anything before Monday with the B&F on Saturday night. A lot of water to go under the bridge between a Friday arvo and a Monday morning, especially with a club B&F, which he will most likely win, in the middle of it all. Pick 5 won't cut it AT ALL by Monday morning.
