Travis is quoted as saying him staying at collingwood is "Never in doubt"

You dont even know where his family lives ?

Is it unreasonable to say you are spouting garbage ?
i never said this would happen.. im actually wanting to work with members to discuss... i am not saying it will happen

And also, im not saying he will leave... but i expect FREO to have a dig mid season if he hasn't signed or put contract talks on hold, much like they mid for cloke, and for the people that will say, what if buddy comes out and says i want to stay at hawks etc. well tippet said he wanted to go home so did mitch clark, strange things happen

Buddy seems welded to the hawks bet he signs soon.

But who cares he isnt out of contract yet

Same position as cloke was heading into this season, and his lack of involvement with collingwood led to speculation and if we thought the media coverage of cloke was big, how about buddy in the same position, watch out

If he doesnt sign it will grow yes

The one thing in the Hawks favour is Buddy's old man isn't overseeing the contract unlike Cloke and his stand over Dad.

Imagine Buddy's old man around the negotiation table.

what is this shit? collingwood lose one of their west australians and all of a sudden every sandgroper wants to go home?

buddys not going anywhere. he's stated he wants to be a one club player. end of story.

He would get his way i reckon, hawks sign buddy to 3 million a year

forward line of kennedy, darling, franklin and lecras

*drool*

unlikely though. not really worth entertaining the thought unless buddy utters those conspicuous words no supporter wants to hear "we're putting contract talks on hold till the end of the season" and even then they usually just end up resigning anyway

Kennedy with the short steps run up, Lecras high flying, Darling doing ninja flips and Buddy kicking some B.S goals (and missing a few!) would be pretty entertaining to watch.

I'd love for him to come but he will be a Hawk for life. Bastards. :)
I really liked your comment. I understand where you're coming from. I know it's not jealousy or anything like that. I know a lot has been said about Buddy by both footy fans and media. However, at the end of the day I only wish I could describe the feeling us Hawks fans get when Buddy is about to touch the ball. That moment of anticipation is exhilarating when you imagine what may happen. Sometimes it disapoints and other times we are left speechless at what just happened. I can only laugh when I see him take 2 steps from the boundary line and kick a goal 70mtr as he did in the GF. Unfortunately there have not been that many players that can do that to the masses. He is an extraordinary talent with some flaws. I hope that all fans will be able to one day say that they had a player in their team that created such emotion and disbelief for their fans. I trully do mean that. If Buddy does go to another club one day I will be very jealous of the fact that I will not be able to experience those emotions again. I will have to watch from afar and gasp every time he is about to touch the footy. :)

He can be frustrating at times but the entertainment and dominance he provides to your side more than makes up for it. I know Freo have a few exciting players in the likes of Hill, Morabito (maybe not due to injuries) and Fyfe - With Fyfe being probably the more consistent and one closest to winning some major awards, but people can say Buddy had a bad game and you see that he has like 6-7 shots on goal and a few goal assists. It's sometimes the negative of being such a fantastic player, you cop all the criticism when you do your job or maybe even more. Pavlich has been fantastic for us and whilst being a great player, its just a different type of impact. Pavlich can rally the side, kick a few goals take a few grabs and help in the midfield, whilst Buddy will just pull something out of nowhere and have a dominant performance in the forward line. Pavlich has spent most of his career being an elite player in an average team, I hope we can get him a grand final at least and I think that Fyfe is the current player who can add the brilliance for the side the way Franklin has done for the Hawks.

There is no way we will ever know if Buddy would perform as well at Freo as he has at the Hawks, but I think we'd both agree we're happy to see both our key forwards play and what they have done for the club.

If he and his management are smart he should wait till the end of 2013.

If things don't turn out as planned yet Freo or the Swans finish near the top, a move to another side that might be challenging and that may offer him substantial coin (Freo 1.2 million per year for 5 years) may be too good to resist.

I reckon Fyfe is a future elite star of the game. Will be very important for Freo's finals campaigns in the next few years. But I luv big Pav. He has earned the respect but somehow always misses out on the accolades that he deservers. Probably the fact that the media are too Victorian focused. He has been the best key forward (with Johnathan Brown) of their era. Nick Riewoldt doesn't come close. Hope to see him with a medallion someday (not against Hawks) and stick it to the people such as the AA selectors, etc. that don't appreciate his talent and leadership. Good luck for next year.

Love watching buddy sometimes, but is he doing more harm than good at hawthorn. Personally love your team playing without him. What do you hawks fans think?
