Quarters is spot on about the umpiring, terrible stuff. If that had been at a critical stage in a game we would have heard alot more out of that. 4 blokes on top of buddy god knows how may little cheapies were going on and he pings buddy for retaliating with a bloomin headlock.
How much of a pussy is Rance - delivers the cheapy then can't get out of the pack quick enough - looks stunned and ready to cry.
Onya Buddy! It was worth the 2 x 50m penalties.

I was at the game but didn't see exactly what happened...but after seeing the replay, any reasonable person would consider Rance a f*****g dog! The little pussy was desperately trying to run away after Buddy got him in a headlock...meh, i guess its the Richmond way! Onya Buddy, the 2 50mtr penalties were well worth it!

I reckon another thing that may go against Buddy is that Cousins didn't come back on the ground after the bump.
I just think that was good footy, cousins had him covered, fumbled and buddy got him fair and square. It was definitely high but it was fair i think quite unavoidable. Just two tough nuts playing footy im sure cousins is fine with it and buddy should feel hard done by if he gets rubbed out.

So what you are saying is if a player tackles another player fairly, and the tackle results in a knee injury to the guy getting tackled, the tackler should get suspended???

Just out of interest, Rance took his kick and game was in time on I believe... Can you award a 50 once it's time on? I'm assuming Buddy mouthed off to the ump, shouldn't it have been a free, followed by the one 50?

Yes it would be. Our young star is, week-in-week-out, being pounded from pillar to post with little sympathy from or notice taken by the men in various colors.
The incident was a good old hip and shoulder which is an inherent and unique part of our game played between real men.
And, as well, it would be lack of business acumen if Buddy were to be taken from the spotlight of the MCG in next weeks kind of 'Elimination Final' and, hopefully, beyond.
It will not be only Hawks fans crying foul but lovers of AFL football.

I listened to this and he compared this incident of cousins running into buddy's shoulder to brent staker running into barry hall's fist???? This man has lost the plot, he honestly sounded like a four year old child sulking when he doesn't get his own way!
