TC: And now for some farewells. The club would like to thank gym4life and brahj for their time with us. brahj commands the ability to thrill and startle, and has given us as many laughs as anyone. Thanks for the season! No-one goes harder than Gymbo, and we'll really miss what he brings to our dynamic- he has been a great teammate over the last season-and-a-bit, and proven many wrong along the way. Will prove a formidable opponent in the matchups to come.

It is time to announce the recipient of the Best Defender Award. Now here is a player on whom we lean for much of our consistency and composure. In all of his years we are uncertain if he has ever left the club, or if he just sleeps on the beanbags and steals from the vending machine. This season he was the second-best league-wide in his position, as he racked up the ball, defended admirably and took a billion marks. It's been a pleasure playing along side him down back, even if he makes me look even less capable: congratulations kane249!!!

It is time to announce the recipient of the Best Midfielder Award. This was was incredibly tough to assign, as our midfield utterly torches everyone else's all the way along. In the end, despite being absent for the dawn of the season, this guy was bloody unstoppable from his very first step and may well have been the most dominant player in the competition during the period in which he played. Jumping right in the guts and not giving up and inch, the midfielder's award goes to Tandy!

Our season was trucking along steadily, and we boasted a monolithic percentage. Our 'death by a thousand near misses' period had not yet struck and we were had eyes to a top four placing. And look at that count!! I'd be biting my nails something chronic had I now blown them all off try to get my tent pegs in.
