That is friggin’ cool. So I wrote this from a male bear perspective. Enjoy.

In this life I’m a man. But I play for the Bears. So really I’m a man Bear.

When you’re a man Bear, you let the lady Bear deal with the Cubs. You could give a **** how big or small they are, cos it’s not your problem. The best thing is when you wake up there are no annoying little furry ****ers around to disturb your peace.

If you’re papa Bear, nobody ****s with you. Like, nobody. You wake up growling, farting, however the **** you want to wake up and no ****er complains. Cos if they do they’re ****ed.

Yup, I love being a man Bear.

Good evening and welcome to the Las Vegas Bears' Season 29 Best and Fairest* - The Mateflon. This occasion is for celebrating the season that was, and for the continuation of our proud and vibrant heritage here in Vegas. With a suite of illustrious awards being vied for, each steeped in history, it is a fantastic ceremony to bring together a rich past, and an exuberant future. Such esteemed past winners as: me a fu**load of times, leave little wonder why The Mateflon is held in such reverence.

Each season with the Bears throws new opportunities, new challenges, and new characters - but what remains the same is our taste for adventure, our sizzling brand of qootball, and our profound care for our teammates. Unshackled from the stresses and rigours of the season, it is also a chance to let our hair down, enjoy some of the best, sparkling company, alongside some of the worst sparkling wine. I look forward to this night each and every season, and the upcoming affair promises to fulfil every bit of that anticipation!

An up and down season for you across defence this year- vintage form at times, but also hampered by injury/suspension at other times. How have you found this year, on and off the qooty field?

On field it was a struggle. Too much ball finding its way down back due to plodders playing midfield. We really did extraordinarily well to hold up the dam wall. Off field much easier, all care no responsibility. The Grandaddy of the Bears really

No. The useless lard arse will rig it again. So fragile is his ego.

Who are you sitting with tonight?

I'll be sitting with TommyCash, my favourite Communist Mustache.

Have you enjoyed your first season back as our specialist Back Pocket? And how do you think we went as a team?

I have enjoyed my season as a Back Pocket, my years as a forward pocket have helped me read the play and become a reliable veteran down back. My pace has slowed but I still have a sharper mind than these young small forwards. As a team we started off hot, but slowly fizzled out as the season went on. Next year we will need a full year effort, as we know our peak is as good as anyone else in the competition.

Who is your tip to win the Mateflon Medal?

You're the favourite for the Mateflon this year MW. You are, anyone who works as a doctor and uses their spare time to do anything but completely veg out deserves a medal.
