Are you looking forward to tonights entertainment, particularly the Blackjack and Hookers?
Oh absolutely, that’s always a highlight. Can never have too much of either of them.

Could you elaborate on your recent comment about being a combined Las Vegas Bears and Sin City Swamprats team?
That’s my previous club there, still a lot of love for them and many good times were had. Granted they beat us in a Grand Final the season after I left which was oh so convenient, but yeah I wouldn’t be opposed to such a union as I share a strong bond with both clubs.

At times this season you were our specialist interchange player along with xenxen . How did you find your new role this season?
I loved it, they often say the bench is the best seat in the house and watching the game unfold for free is incredible value. I pride myself on being part of the bench mob and the certified hype man of the team so it just happens to work out perfectly for me.

Who is your tip to win the Mateflon Medal?
They say you have to put the most amount of confidence in yourself, so that should give you my tip.

I’m sitting with my award-winning novelist sister guerita Emma Stone. I figure her good luck might rub off. Although in her case it’s much more than luck, it’s talent. In my case it’d be luck.

It has been an outstanding debut season for you onfield as you have dominated across Wing and the Flank putting you in all-SFA contention, and offield with wit, haikus and love of rocks. Have you enjoyed your first season in the SFA and at the Bears? And how do you think we went as a team?

Why thank you. My good seagulling was based around the hard work of others - in and under types like I Dont Care and Matera92.

Yeah, it’s been a lot of fun - credit to the Bears LG for putting together a wonderful group of posters. Everyone has been very supportive of everyone else through what has been an incredibly difficult time for many.

We went well. We all enjoyed each other’s company and the bantz...which is what it’s all about, right?

What have been some of your highlights this season?

Getting to know everyone in the SFA a little bit better. It’s a wonderful community.

Aside from flog, what's planned over the offseason/preseason?

More English lessons with my cuz Dero.

And finally, who is your tip to win the Mateflon Medal?

The Mateflon? Hmmm. A lot of our players have had fantastic seasons, including my two fellow rooks Muddiemoose and tony. Metalcrusher has had a fine season too, as has Western Stand Warrior. Just quietly...if it was up to me I wouldn’t allow WSW to win cos of his trash username, but that might not come into calculations.

An up and down season for you across defence this year- vintage form at times, but also hampered by injury/suspension at other times. How have you found this year, on and off the qooty field?

On field it was a struggle. Too much ball finding its way down back due to plodders playing midfield. We really did extraordinarily well to hold up the dam wall. Off field much easier, all care no responsibility. The Grandaddy of the Bears really

And the age old question- will you poll more votes than your nemesis Matera92 ?

No. The useless lard arse will rig it again. So fragile is his ego.

I think the great JWS put it best:
"When I took over as captain from Matera we arranged it to be named after him. The nickname maybe came a little before my time or if my first year here or something. It references Matera's ability to escape sanction for any team sheet or league indiscretion"

Another season behind your belt, and you were a reliable, experienced presence in defence yet again. How did you go, and how is the body pulling up?

With each passing game/season the body is finding it harder to recover after a game. Mostly the liver and nostrils, so it isn't for any on field related activities

What are your offseason plans? And do you have any goals for next season?

Off season plans will be to enjoy time with the new bride, and goal for next season is to still be a valuable member of the team. As the elder statesman for the team I tend to let the young whipper snappers run around and do all the heavy lifting.

Mateflon tip is for Mateflon himself to win it again, aka the other half of the greatest wing combo the SFA has ever seen.

Who are you, where am I? I was promised a free boat.

From my perspective, that was yet another great, injury-free season for you at Rover and gaining deserved recognition as our S30 Heritage Captain and Redraft Chief Selector . How would you rate your season/quest for #Matera4Mobbs , and the Bears' season as a whole?

Like every season I compete in, it is yet another chapter for my future best selling autobiography 'Exceptionalism: The Matera92 Chronicles'.

I expect to collect my Mobbs medal soon, obtaining yet another award that Art Vandelay_ doesn't have.
As for the Bears, it was a disappointing way to end the season and I will be tying up everyone involved with frivolous lawsuits for the next decade.

That being said, the emergence of the new rookies, along with the off season recruits has definitely seen us put in a strong position going forwards. We've got a great mix of old and new to take the Bears forwards into s31.

Lastly, I'd like to commend you on taking over when Test Tickle got lost in the showers and stopped coming to work, I fear for those who encountered him wandering the showers, looking for someone to share a wash with.

There's also the age-old question- will you once gain more votes than your rival Art Vandelay_ ?

Is it even a question anymore? He's barely a rival and more an afterthought.

Dustin Martin, that flog wins everything.

I believe this has been breakthrough year for you onfield ( 3rd highest goalkicker at FF) and offield (growing into your leadership role around the club). How have you rated your year and the Bears' year as a whole?

I thoroughly enjoyed this year being surround by great mates and colleagues at the Bears. Believe it or not skip, this is actually my first COMPLETE season in the SFA. We need a big pre season next year because we started S30 like a freight train and ended like a Datsun 120Y. Coach needs to really look hard at our training loads.

The highlight of my year was watching the three amigos Muddiemoose tony and guero tearing up the both the park and match threads. tony 's humour never ceases to make me giggle. He is one funny campaignery!

My year on a personal level was up and down, I missed a lot of chances in front of the big sticks, especially at the start of the season but still managed to slot 66 majors for the year. To get those goals is a credit to the Bears engine room.

What are you looking forward to most tonight, the vote count, the showers, the campaignery or something else?

What I am most looking forward to tonight is spiking Matera92's drinks with roofies and stealing his tazer and cuffs. I think I will use them on Millky95 and leave him tied up naked outside the venue. I will gerry rig his tinder account and set up cameras and enjoy the mirth that will unfold.

Who is your tip to win the Mateflon Medal?

My tip for the Mateflon is either guero or Western Stand Warrior both had terrific seasons playing in the gutz.

Yeah it has been a nice return. Vegas has welcomed me with open arms. Playing finals is always a success even though I think off field we have done much better

Getting to see the rookies in guero , tony and Muddiemoose get to shine

I have absolutely loved every minute of it especially bonding with my teammates who are easily the best in the league

And our home and away wins against the royals and gumbies x2 were

You spent most of the year in Wing, but as a mobile big man, look set to take up the Ruck after being handpicked by your retiring mentor U2tigers . How do you feel about the stepup to Ruck and the Leadership Group? And do you have anything planned this offseason to prepare?
I’ll be definitely picking the brains of our established midfield players learning where they like the ball to be tapped
After the wing I’m looking forward to showing off my inside game as well
