It was of a young moose carrying the Bears to a flag that kicks off a bears dynasty.


Was it just a dream? Or a vision of a future that may come to fruition?

Bears v Serpents Exhibition Match

On cloudy Friday night we took on the Serpents at the Stadium in the Sky. This was an exhibition match organised by haydo and Millky95 was kind enough to SIM this game for us.
RonnieRaven kicked the first for the game as the Serpents looked a little bit nervous, after all they were challenging a very underrated qootball team in the Bears. Its was a tough first quarter for the Serpents and with goals to Muddiemoose and then vanders and Metalcrusher they were putting up a terrific battle in only their second game of qooty. Its Manbearpig slammed home 3 goals in the latter half of the first quarter as his opponent akkaps just stood their with the mouth open and the elite qootball style of the Bears shone through as they took a healthy 24pt lead to the quarter time break. The Serpents coach gave his team a blast at the break and it had the desired effect and after Ronnie booted another goal and then Ok Boomer slammed home one from 85mtr out, the score was still in favor of the Bears, but then the Serpents hit back with Muddie booting home 3 goals of his own and then brucetiki and iBeng getting in on the action with one each, the Bears had stopped and going to the long break the Serpents held their heads high taking an 11pt lead. At one stage the Serpents were 31pts down, so to go into half time with an 11pt lead was a truly wonderful effort. The third quarter was a ripper as the Serpents really took it up to the Bears and with a few spot fires breaking out in the premiership quarter the Serpents were flexing their muscles. Goals to Matera92 and Fizzler kept the Bears in the game and with Tiger Toffee bone2468 and brucetiki banging on one each the game was anyone's, until Tommycash decided to take control and slam home 2 for the Bears in a fantastic display of qooty for the home crowd to watch as the Bears bring back the margin to a 1pt deficit at the last break. The Bears took the lead at the 6 minute mark of the last and had a comfortable break half way through the last leading be 2 goals and seemingly in control, before goals to iBeng, bone2468 and Muddiemoose lifted the Serpents up off the carpet and now the Bears looked in trouble. Lemon Boi, vanders and MWPP all stood up and took control slamming on a goal each in the second half of the last quarter to take the Bears out to a winning break by 11pts. A fantastic exhibition game to watch and everyone enjoyed each others company in the showers after the game.
