Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

BigFooty does not guarantee ticket sales or swaps. It is entirely at your own risk, please make sure you trust the poster in question. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I have 2 X Junior tickets I won't be using section 417 row DD. $60 each (face value). PM me if interested. Prefer to pass onto a Lions BF member, will put back in the Ticketmaster pool later today if no takers.

Just nabbed 2 tickets in the upper forward pocket (Brion ultras end) on Ticketmaster resale. Were released by Carlton supporters which is strange, given the bay it's in. Might wear my Hawks gear in case I get the chance to troll.

Good of you to come up to support gunners

Never in all my years have I seen a GABBA game so hyped as this one. No chance I was getting two tickets. Was keen to show my girlfriend a live game (that’s not Manuka oval “atmosphere”). Seems even members missed out at 10am! Wtf!

Should be an amazing atmosphere and experience.
Do you have the September member add-on? I found the membership was pretty pointless without it when it comes to finals tickets.

September membership only applies to the grand final.
If you were classed as P1 for other finals that is based on what type of membership you have.

September membership is basically a donation to the club unless you make it to the grand final.
Then it guarantees you a grand final seat.

My mistake, thought it was got all finals. My GA season membership gets me P1 for finals so I must have upgraded that membership at the same time.

September membership does give you bonus guest passes throughout the season which saves you some money. For someone whose parents like to come along, you end up being better off financially with the upgrade. Well worth it.

Has anyone actually been to the captains bar during a footy game? I can barely find any info about it, but what I can find is during the cricket season there’s a dress code. I don’t wanna rock up in supporter gear and get turned away from my seat hahahaha

That could be the case as i don't usually use guess passes.
I know guess passes come with other membership types.

I will assume you are correct so that would make it worthwhile for those that can use the guess pass.

And even if he doesn't play, at least I'll be able to watch Birchall jogging around like an '08 Stuey Dew.

Don’t fear - he is playing

IF we win flights will to Melbourne will literally double or triple at the siren.

May buy them before and watch GF in Melbourne regardless. It's better down there anyway.

Would it be cheaper to fly into Sydney then out to Melbourne?
Possibly, you hear stories each year about interstate teams if they make it and huge prices.
I remember one year it was way cheaper to fly to Bali then to Melbourne.

I just had a quick at Gold Coast flights to Melbourne that look cheaper.

Think I just saw on 7news
$119 BNE - SYD
$119 SYD - MEL

I think.

Qantas today did a select number of flights from brisbane and the Gold Coast to Melbourne and back for $175 each way. Apparently on social media many were buying those tickets and spending the extra $23 for covermore insurance to cancel the flights if the lions lose the prelim.

Well I'm feeling particularly lucky to have a friend with Brisbane Cricket Club membership that let me get their +1s. Would have had no chance in general public sale. It does mean I have to wear a collared shirt and shoes, which goes against my usual dress code, but I get to see the boys make a grand final so will be worth it. Can't wait for this!!!!
