I agree that Selwood and Hanley were both very good. Banfield looked electric on the few occasions when he had the ball in space. I also thought Dzufer was one of our better players, used the ball well off half back. Notting did some good things but was in and out of the game and his use of the ball and finishing was well below par. Hooper did a couple of special things up forward but other than that he did alot of running for no result. Also on a side note, I feel for Matty Tyler who has been forced to play in the ruck a bit this season and not been able to give his preferred backline position a proper crack.

It was a huge opportunity for Rhan. He had a good third quarter.

It's appropriate Bergers is built like a pool cue because I feel he'll be going back on the rack - at least until P/S begins.

Some piccies to view if you're that way inclined. There might even be a shot of Luthors lurking somewhere in the background.

I'd like to say a big 'thank you' to all the contributors - especially CTD and Roger - on this thread who keep us up to date with match reports and photos and other information regarding the ressies :thumbsu:

I'm pretty heavily involved in netball which takes up most of my winter Saturday afternoons and so almost never get to a ressies game.

So THANK YOU :)

So THANK YOU :)

My thanks also. Makes me feel involved with the whole club, and not just a lions spectator.

Big thanks for those able to get along and keep all us informed. Always good to know how injuried players are going and how some of the younger ones are developing, wouldn't know half as much if not for those who contribute with updates and match reports.

Yes thankyou for taking the trouble. I always read it with great interest.:)

Great to see that Southport choked yesterday against Mt Gravatt after being 23 points up in the 4th quarter of the prelim.

An all-Brisbane grand final on Sunday... Morningside vs Mt Gravatt. :thumbsu:

No Gold Coast pond scum this year. :D

Cruddy production values denied us some decent vision of Morro's lairising. The blowing of kisses to the crowd followed up by the nailing shut of the coffin lid were the icing on the cake of Southport's demise. :thumbsu:
