Whenever we have one good win, we’re putrid the following week punch drunk on our own bath water clearly getting ourselves and the coaching staff rarely do anything about it.
100% AGREE!
Let’s see what Fagan can do as a coach from here. I would move McStay back and LESTER to FULL FORWARD. At least Lester understands AFL football.

Yeah as I said saw Harris earlier this week and he didn’t sound real good at all. Explains his lazy first half.

Also looks like a few of the other boys might be under the weather a bit which *may* explain the skill errors in the first half as well as being putrid on defensive transition.

If we win this one from here I reckon we’d have done quite well.

I couldn’t believe he came straight back in without a run in the NEAFL.

Similarly, can’t believe we bring in Starcevich when we’ve just brought in Bailey and have Answerth in the side.
Walker would have been a better option because we could have switched him forward.

Man this board can be so reactionary if we aren’t playing amazing. Amazed half of you survived the last 9 years.

I think we are in the game at our home deck, can easily overrun them in the second half if we are up for it. We have chances, now let’s take them.
Of course.

But we've been putrid at converting opportunities and got cruelled on unnecessary turnovers.

Wasteful and frustrating. No getting away from that

Geez I hope McInerney is ok we needed his big marks on goal square in this type of chaos game, he won’t be back today though hopefully soon.

We're playing like Witherden wasn't the only one under the weather.the most obvious example being Andrews who clearly isn't himself today
Yep. He looks switched off.

We played quite poorly in the first half vs the saints and came out firing for the 3rd. Hoping for the same today.

Did flu or something keep Witherden out? Is it going around the club?

its not arrogent.. its the opposite. We are scared of the occasion.

Not scared in my view but kicking high and long into 50 making it easy for demons to pick us off.. need to change entries pattern.

All that they’ve said about Witherden is “illness” but Harris seemed to have a bout of it last week. A couple of the boys had hands on hips already in that first quarter.

Think we need to be in front at 3QT cause it looks like it’ll be hard to overrun them in the last.

Slotting four or five of those golden chances would've helped that....Oh well, let's hope we the second half is a little easier to watch.
