I wouldn't be surprised to see Moloney bob up at Sydney if they lose Bolton to retirement. Better player than many give him credit. Would be ahead of Curnow, Ellard and Bell at Carlton.

I doubt it will. They have 3 days IN THE OFFSEASON to decide, they wont ever let it get down to a last minute decision

these are the guys FA was actually designed for. Players made the point that the Cloke/Tippet type trades clog up the whole trade period, with everything on hold till these are done. By the time they are, usually these guys (middle tier players) are out of time to effect a trade, and either have to be delisted or stick another year.

FA allows these middle tier players to actually move to prolong their careers, without being effected overly by the other deals going on
