What are you on about? It's 'I' not 'i' ffs.
Cleaning out the spare room and found active directional sonar unit. (fancy wording just means it sends out a sound wave in a repetitive cycle)
Just spent the last hour using it to randomly set off the neighbours car alarm.
Commissioner Gordon - i found Batman for you

Are you James Cameron??
I'm assuming that's some sort of joke or a slowing flying aeroplane, either way it went over my head.
What exactly were you retaliating against?
I seriously didn't even know anybody moved their car before paying at the servo. I've never seen it.

Yeah we finally got a petrol station in Wandering this year. Unmanned 24/7 fuel and it's often cheaper than the city so can't complain. It's opposite in rural WA, they are moving towards unmanned stations in these tiny towns.
Reason is that the Feds introduced much stricter regulations on underground fuel tanks, have to get them tested every year etc and it has made it pretty uneconomical to run them. Was chattin to the bird who runs the roadhouse out at Bruce Rock a while ago and she said they made probably $14k-$15k profit a year selling fuel and the testing/certification was going to cost them $12k per year so they decided to stop selling fuel. They still offer food, general store stuff and accommodation but not fuel.
The unmanned ones are run by a bulk fuel company, don't require any staffing costs and can operate 24hrs at no extra cost (which is great if you're like me and get to Upper Goatgooseup at 6pm and the only servo has closed, or its a Sunday, or if you're in Three Springs between 2pm and 5pm) so it's pretty much a win-win situation for most.
That said, I always buy from a proper roadhouse if that option is available, support the little guy.
Haha didn't see you mention it before my last post. Trust me it was the biggest day in wandering for a long time.Yeah Merredin being on the Great Eastern Highway picks up a fair bit of passing traffic, as well as a decent base of locals (population ~2800).
Places like Bruce Rock (pop 500) which have no real through traffic would probably be better off. The roadhouse at Pingrup (pop 270) is on its last legs and I wouldn't be surprised if when the current owners retire/die it gets replaced by an unmanned site.
Wandering (pop 350) just had a new unammed site open after there was no fuel available there for years.
Too far.Being bored with my vacation and because of this thread, I switched off my neighbours water main tap.
Too far.
