What about Montana? Politico presented it and ND as "battleground" yet they only provide 6 combined, which is less than half than NC and Virginia. They were never turning blue and will never be the "key" state in any election IMO, not just this one.

Well let's suppose he wins Indiana. Suppose he wins Florida. Suppose he wins Virginia and North Carolina and Colorado.

Even then, McCain still needs at least 16 votes from the following:

New Mexico (5)
Iowa (7)
Oregon (7)
Washington (11)

They called NM way too early, but it is an impressive start. Texas had a similar start and has slipped away. Although it would always be a long shot. Colorado looks much safer for Obama.

They just did some cool touch screen thing on CNN and gave McCain everything except the West Coast states and he still couldn't get to 270 and its pretty safe to say Oregon, Washington State and California will vote Obama right?

Florida still leaning Obama's way but McCain is catching up. Less than 150,000 votes in it now, with about 40% of the votes to be counted.
