This is the first time we've tried this, we've tested it and it works, we're going with uStream, fingers crossed the Alice telephone towers don't die on us.

what upload speed were you able to get from the location and what rate are you encoding at? Want to make sure the capacity is able to handle the quality before I tune in.

No commentary, no scores, its just footage. We're uploading from a wireless Telstra USB stick. Encoding at, not sure which camera exactly we're using but it won't be HD. We're uploading to uStream so there shouldnt be a buffer issue, only the issue of internet speed/camera.

Basically (and this is for everyone) dont expect TV quality.

given that they will be uploading via a wireless usb stick in an area that has poor coverage I doubt they would have the bandwidth.

Just listen to the ABC broadcast online as well.
