Didn't kick straight, were deplorable in the clearances, terrible delivery to our forwards, missing our key defender, Sherman a late pull out, and we lost to the most in form team in the comp on their home ground by about 3 goals.

Not our best night, but plenty will lose at the SCG at the moment against the Swans, plenty of upside for the Lions.

BTW, Matt Maguire outstanding on Bradshaw after he was moved there... how much would the Bluebaggers like him now?

From what I've been told, Carlton was Goose's safety net.

The week before the draft, the Lions gave him a call and told him that they were keen. His dad played some games for the Fitzroy reserves and he was friends from way back with big JB16 so he was keen to play for Brisbane so he started faking injury and pretending to be coming up sore while training at Carlton.

Carlton swallowed it, and Brisbane got a gun defender. The rest is history.
