Still a bit weird he hasn’t nominated Freo?

Rankine has Nominated Adelaide, is WC working the back ground with all this mega trade stuff?
Every single journalist who would know is saying that he won't nominate officially but that WC is only an option with the PSD.

Do you not think it's weird that it's been a week and WC still hasn't put forward an offer?

Think if we were offering our/norths F2 it would've been mentioned in that tweet. Later pick swaps is usually 3rd/4ths.

Though this was reported in the age:

"Freo will be inclined to add a future second-round pick to the two first-round picks if they get a selection back from Melbourne, such as Essendon’s future third they receive for Weideman, or the Bedford pick."

13, F1, North F2 for Jackson and Essendon F3 and/or GWS 44 seems like a reasonable deal to me.

Sounds absolutely horrible
Im sure it does, but so does two low first round picks. There will probably be more pick swaps involved. Ie. Weideman and Bedford picks into a high-mid 30s pick from someone.

Not for an ooc player.

13, 13, 32 --> Jackson, 42 seems fair enough.
13, 13, 20 --> Jackson, 42 is paying way too much for a player who will walk to the PSD otherwise.
Freo would surely be disappointed finishing 6th again. The only real loss of any value is Logue playing as a decoy forward, and he’s being replaced by Jackson who will play that role far better. Prelim bound, I reckon.

We could finish bottom 10 as easily as we could finish top 4. I don't know what to expect next year. Trade Lobb and we're bottom 10. Teams found us out in the second half of the year.
