First thing Carlton need to do is fix their leaky ship. They wouldn't have been put in this position if people at their club just shut their traps to the media.

Too many selfish power players in that board.

Murphy, Cripps and Docherty are putting in, Boekhurst and Graham are yet to show anything, Yarran, Gibbs and Kreuzer all tease in their own way but years go by without a lot of great footy from them considering their respective talents, loved the look of Menzel but his development looks to be tapering already. Quick turnarounds occasionally happen but painfully slow/indefinitely delayed turnarounds screw over teams just as often. I'd be waiting for the long haul hoping to be pleasantly surprised if I was a Blues fan.

Kicked about half our score on the weekend.

I know. Has plenty of talent just not offering much outside of being a goal kicker at the moment. Nothing wrong with that, all teams need goal kickers but I think he's capable of much more and you'd think he'd be showing it by his third season.

Saying recruiting is poor is not a lie and its a great agenda to persue.
no argument there, the recruitment has been poor. what the board's job is is to set the direction of the organisation and appoint the relevant executives to take the club forward, it's clear at Carlton there's been an inability for some to stop there and just like Jack Watts they pick and choose when to go.

Giving Bryce Gibbs a 5 year contract, doesn't really set the bar high at Carlton.
You would have extended Mick's contract if he had cost us millions and draft picks after he ruined two seasons and threatened to ruin a third. Just to massage a dud coach's ego.

At least we're not Essendon.

Having Bruce become a dial a quote for destabilizing the whole situation isn't.

Carltons new leadership is merely nine months old. Off field restructuring is complete SOS and McKay having a greater say over the list,

Bruces antics isn't ideal but like many around the club the generic improvement was woeful at best. His thoughts were not alone. He has shut up now because the club has taken solid steps to rectify the errors of the previous administration/

Jack Elliott has incredibly wormed his way back in through his son on drive time AW.

The fact that the worm Edelsten was in the box a few weeks back says everything about the board. Those tickets aren't simply sold through Ticketmaster.

Who cares?

Mick Malthouse has been sacked.
