Manchester United: Where to next?

Well pretty easy fix then just look at how any top club is doing it currently and copy them, but the owners seem stubborn to want to do things their own way
Except Tottenham and Arsenal, all the top clubs in the Premier League has changed owners to get that success. Liverpool were exactly where ManU are now before FSG. And Man City were worse off. Roman made Chelsea. etc.

Until the Glazers are gone the best they can do is paper over the cracks.

Isn't there a protest walk out planned?

A walk out will do nothing. 50,000 members have already paid, many of them probably can’t afford to not go given the outlay.

The other 25k will be mostly tourists who’ve purchased tickets for their trip and will by no means participate

Has there been an offer rejected to move him on? Didn't think anyone had bid for him. Expensive contract to just terminate and not really what you should do to a club legend. Tough spot for all parties
Mendes asked us to cancel his contract with O payout. Glazer wants 20m+

Sucks that they got beat badly leading up to playing us. Watch them bounce back.

Who are you kidding? Liverpool will destroy United and score at least 4 goals. There won’t be a bounce back because these players are average.

It can't help having a 37 year old has been trying to hold the club to ransom. That must be pissing off other squad members surely.

Yeah, it doesn’t help at all. Ronaldo needs to go.

The weak minded no ambition players? cry me a river.

Ronaldo needs to go because he’s to good for this club. Deserves better.

What's going on behind the scenes with Ronaldo? Seems a pretty toxic situation that can undermine squad harmony.
club and player wants out glazers want his shirt sales

Where to start....

In the space of a decade the club has gone from having the most well led and ruthless culture of success in the game to a culture that rewards mediocrity and is utterly devoid of leadership. Multiple managers have been brought in and none have been adequately supported. Insane money has been spent on new signings with no real recruitment plan for how they fit in.

Rival fans ITT have rightly pointed out the seemingly simple solution of a DoF but the lack of investment in an experienced DoF, and the complete scrapping of Rangnick's consultancy role speaks volumes there...the owners don't want someone who will rock the boat by forcing them to make the drastic changes that any idiot can see are desperately needed.

I don't envision a scenario where success is capable under this ownership. Fergie survived with them because he'd already been able to implement a strong winning culture BEFORE the parasites got involved. We also had David Gill running things, now we have Glazer yes men who aren't even football people. The reality is that we are now witnessing the consequences of years of mismanagement which has led to a bunch of mediocre performers being paid as super stars so we can't even get rid of this toxic group. I don't think ETH has a chance of being able to implement any sort of change whilst the core of this team remains the same.

Manchester United has been dying a slow death for years. It's just finally caught up.

I'm sorry but this is delusional. He's a huge part of the problem.

Are you a Manchester United fan, or a Cristiano Ronaldo fan?

So much this. The club should not be pandering to Cristiano Ronaldo who in reality is a 37 year old has been who should be thrilled to be playing at a club of Uniteds stature at his age getting the wages he is on.
