Thats at level weights, he has 3kg today, a gifted draw and scrapes into fave over Trix.

I have Trix 6.80 and Alaskan 2.65 today.

Yeah, I didn't think he'd get 1800m though but he handled it well. I no longer am expecting a sharp drop off from him but might find one better than him. Some horses just tough out the distance.

Alaskan God and Rakanori could be top end talents (we already know Trix is) so important day today for them to not go backward.

How long until Racing NSW does the right thing and moves their entire carnival 2 months early. Would mean the MM is in a perfect lead up spot for the Slipper too and Melbourne can be the back end of the Carnival rather than the warm up
