Have no idea how Lord Gordon Byron has acclimatised but he is a seasoned traveller. Works best off a strong pace and can produce good closing sectionals. he should definitely place in this field. He should be at single figure odds and closer to 5 to 1 than 10 to 1. The 26.00 must be wrong !

Any thoughts on Aliyana in the last at Bendigo?
Runs a good race first up. Has been running city grade in Sydney. Trialled well. Just runs on a lot into the placings though and is probably better suited at longer distance, but Zabeels can pull out wins over less.
Arnold and Bendigo track suits.

still trying to work out why gordon lord byron is $26/$7.50..... what are we missing?

I am on - can only think that they are using the race as a total barrier trial before dropping back to the 1200m for the TJ Smith - hence the price.

I have also had a small investment on Gordon Lord Byron @ $23 despite reservations about him winning first up in Australia, originally was not going to back him but have decided with the bottomless track I cannot back Red Tracer in the race, I think she is a top winning chance but has been over bet on a track like this and I'm not interested in betting up on horses this under these circumstances, just too much risk involved for large investments.

I'm Sacred Falls @ $11s, Toydini @ $24 and Gordon Lord Byron @ $23.

I cant guarantee much but I reckon I can guarantee that Dissident won't win tomorrow. The way it won last start was great but for me its not the type of win that translates to next start win.

Hey guys heading to morphetville 2moro for the first time if anyone has any horses they like running 2moro any advice would be awesome

Best bet for me Dave is Qadir in race 3. Unbeaten and taking on a pretty weak field. Was very impressive last start.

Like Addiction To Rock in the 7th & Rivers Lane at a price in the last. Good luck!

I'll be on Primitive Man in that race.

I know it's a while ago, but he beat home Flamberge in town who has gone on to bigger and better things.

Trainer will be throwing Blinkers on for the first time, which from his work at home has apparently switched him back on & the horse apparently knows it's a race horse again.

That into Silent Man should get me odds of $25+ :thumbsu:

I'm a Qadir fan too was on it last start. Has a mean finishing burst.

Tomorrow in Sydney I'm with The Offer, Sacred Falls, Sessions, Plucky Belle (best) and Atlante....although can't make up my mind in the Guineas at all...might go shotgun attack with Petrucci also. Too wet to bet with confidence.

Best in Melbourne is Bardem.

Wet track (heavy 9) at Sydney

Red Tracer all day for me

Rain Affair throws in the towel very quickly but on a wet track is another animal

Lucky Lago in the last

At the Valley, race 6 is a very deep field and reckon will be a goof form reference in coming weeks

Red Tracer should win but at that price on a chopped up track I'll be ... what the hell am I saying ... I'll be broke before then anyway :p

I like Lucky Lago & Mr Cha Cha too.

If I like the ones you like, clear stay away day for you I'm afraid ;)

Hey guys heading to morphetville 2moro for the first time if anyone has any horses they like running 2moro any advice would be awesome

Start your day off on a winning note with Murtle Turtle in Race 1

Race 4 #8 Go Indy Go, looks to be a real battle for the lead here between about 4 horses and should suit this horse to a tee will run on $11 is great value

Race 5 #2 Kushadasi just wins but only $1.75

Race 7 #5 Miracles of Life

I agree Falcon's although I will be betting in Sydney, my advice would be only play them at odds, don't back any of the shorter horses as it is just too much of a risk betting 2.5 to 3% of your bank on one individual horse, bottomless tracks just add more variables.

Watch for patterns during the day if you are betting, if there is no rain today and the track starts to dry I'd imagine it would be hard to make ground as the track will get sticky.

My bets today at Rosehill:

Race 5 - 1.1 Units Calming Influence @ $6.

Race 6 - 1.1 Units Villa Verde. 0.5 Units Whittington. If the inside ground is okay and they are not all swooping I will be backing Famous Seamus also.

Race 7 - 0.95 Units Sacred Falls. 0.65 Units Streama. 0.4 Units Gordon Lord Byron. 0.4 Units Toydini.

Betting around Red Tracer although I think she is the one to beat, been over bet in a big way as a result of her flattering wet track stats.

Race 8 - If the track is leader biased or at least playing fairly I will be having 0.9 Units on Shamus Award.

Good luck.
