His mindset with the media is very defensive, I think there is a conflict there with wanting to be open and talk freely against a very wary attitude about the media wanting to distort things. Look at the Brad Ottens talk all those years ago and you see it is nothing new for him.

This manifests iotself by a stop start conversation style where flowing speech is interrupted by thought processes to say the right things. Combine this with his style of being someone who is very expressive with his hands and you end up with an unusual media performer.

Sometimes it looks like he struggles with the media and appears nervous but yet he doesn't shy away from there. He's very open.

I just thought he looked absolutely exhausted. He did say after one of the NAB games he went into the rooms and fell asleep because he was so tired. I would think it has not been easy for him

I thought it was widely known he was “using” for quite a few years? I heard about him having a coke habit years ago, never knew about the ice habit and trafficking though.
Very sad state of affairs and hope he gets the help he needs.
