I too will be disappointed to see him go, but I've gotten over any animosity when this situation occurs because clubs dump players at the drop of a hat too. If we want the players to be loyal, clubs have to loyalty too.

Can't trade on to the rookie list. We'd have to nullify his contract so he could enter the rookie draft for that to happen.

Not sure why WC and Freo supporters are saying they have no currency, next years third rounder is available to trade and would likely get the job done.

Marsh is undersized for a KPD - Jeremy Howe is our #1 third-tall and he will be for a very long time. Not too bothered by the loss of Marsh if he indeed leaves, I don't reckon our defensive stocks have taken much of a hit anyway.

Firstly, this is unfortunate.. just as he looks to be coming on as a player and just as we're losing Frost and lacking in the KPP department. We won't get much for him either.

Darling has been discussed a few times on BF. The Weagles have also dropped a few carrots out there recently to see who is interested. That alone shows you that he is no good and they are trying to trade him before his value completely bottoms out. IMO he is soooooooooooooo over rated and jumps at shadows. It would also take 5 years to remove the staging for free's element out of his game. He has choked in the last 2 final series, one being the GF.

Seems that you are passing judgement on him from scant and flimsy information and others are making statements related to his health or his football asset value. A pretty big gulf between those thought processes. You are in the minority in turning it into a borderline vitriolic commentary about his "manliness". Happy to give you the benefit of the doubt but fair to say you are coming across pretty poorly.

I was more referencing the fact Dave called Giant Peter an idiot and to enjoy the red card but you are right.

We're happy to throw players names out there for trade so it works both ways. This is where free agency has given players more freedom and every player knows they are likely to get to their club of choice if they do walk.

This, losing Frost and Marsh is bad news for our depth and our VFL side but doesn't really affect our next premiership tilt, if anything it gives a bit of visibility to a weakness we need to address.

GG, have you spoken to Jono ? Do you know anyone that is close to him ? Please read the available information closely. Even the club statement says leaving for "personal reasons to his home...". There are issues greater than football at play. Just take that as a given and move on from your stance. It will ,in time look silly at best and more likely miserable and lacking in humanity.

Hating the coach could be classified as a "personal reason" too.
