I've gone back to the old days where I go through all the match-ups. Thanks for everyone's support. My audience is really building which is pleasing.

Here it is:

Geelong hosts the Collingwood Magpies this Saturday night at the MCG in a top of the table battle which is likely to decide the minor premier for season 2010. In the last 2 months, Collingwood has rightfully stamped itself as a true contender for the flag this year, whilst Geelong has shown me very little to suggest their era of dominance is about to end.

Geelong has been here before. Typically, the result of a clash like this is reversed in the finals. Port Adelaide beat Geelong last in 2007, only to be smashed in the Grand Final. Geelong beat Hawthorn in 2008 but was overrun when it counted. St.Kilda beat Geelong in a thriller in 2009, but the result was reversed in the Grand Final. So the Cats know not to put too much emphasis on these sorts of matches as it is a different ball game in September.

As the Great White Hope Michael Malthouse once said..."If Geelong play at their best and we play at our best, Geelong will win coz they're better than us"..ok i may have misquoted him slightly but u get my gist. Wats changed?

Channel 10 QLD - you are a disgrace!

Top of the table clash is on and you choose to show the clash for the wooden spoon between the 2 biggest fail clubs of the season.

News flash: No1 wants to watch Brisflogs Vs West Coke when the 2 best teams of the year are playing each other.

On my way to the 'G now. Think the Pies'll win. I just think the Pies style of footy can get on top of the Cats and that they'll have learnt their lesson from last time, which I also went too. Pies seem to be a better team than the Cats at the moment. I'm expecting Harry O to take Johnson and keep him quiet again. Also if Pods fails again tonight in front of a big crowd under pressure, does his spot for the finals come under doubt?

Geelong vs Collingwood

I thought this match probably deserved a thread of its own, afterall it is the biggest game of the year. Who is pumped?!:thumbsu:

Re: Geelong vs Collingwood

Doesn't look like there'll be 90,000. Over 80 definitely, but there's that part of the MCC members that has no one in it AGAIN.

They did open it up to the public last night, but they need to do it for all matches.

Re: Geelong vs Collingwood

You would the think ratio's are quite even of collingwood supporters missing teeth to those with their full set. From what they are showing on the television anyway.

Re: Geelong vs Collingwood

Should be a great second half, this is why Geelong are so good, they just don't stop coming. At least the pies are matching them and beating them in every stat except the scoreboad but I guess that is the stat that counts.
