My concern we get a bump despite Nicks and we end up going down the Hinkley path, a long time coach that isn’t good enough.

Davis sounds like the real solid footy head we need , lots of respect from players already

Possibly re a coach but also a mentor to next coach if it was a Skipworth type

Pretty big move interstate for him, leaving his comfort zone and long term partner if not for a future transition plan or sizeable pay increase. Also saves face for Nicks abit.
