I had Hamill ahead of Parnell before preseason... but clearly Parnell is ahead on form.

Hopefully Hamill gets a go during the season.

Needs to string some games together in sanfl and get his confidence up

Also, Doedee will likely be needed for the 3rd GWS tall.

Greene has quite a bit of body strength in contests , but different to Liam Ryan IMO

Yep this is the reason I think he will get games next year especially with Brown retiring

Can play on some medium /small younger forwards as has the agility / speed

Thought I’d bump this as I got one right and will prob get the next one wrong

I also think people can see now he’s not a Brodie smith replacement

A different type of player altogether but going to be very valuable

Presuming he debuts this week and looking forward to seeing his calm head in action

yep i will put my hand up i thought he had no chance of debut til last couple of games of the season when our season is all over

As our Round 1 debutants normally kick a bag of goals, Max is going to have his work cut out for him especially as it probably hasn’t been done from a back pocket since the FIRST EVER Crows Round 1, when Rodney Maynard kicked 3 goals from that position..

As our Round 1 debutants normally kick a bag of goals, Max is going to have his work cut out for him especially as it probably hasn’t been done from a back pocket since the FIRST EVER Crows Round 1, when Rodney Maynard kicked 3 goals from that position..

I wonder who they have in mind for Max to stand this week? I hope being his first game that he does not have to line up on Hogan or Greene straight up. But super excited to see him out there as he really does look to have a high ceiling as a defender for us for years to come

I think he gets the job on Greene and we're just going to hope our team defense is strong enough to cover it. We did give Max the job to take out Ryan two weeks ago, so it's clear we have a lot of faith in him in this kind of role.

Parnell v Daniels makes sense as a matchup. Doedee/Dawson are better suited to being our main interceptors with Worrell being out, giving Doedee the job of trying to run off Riccardi. Murray/Butts would have Hogan/Himmelberg.
