Could be selected as a SSP even if he didnt nominate for any drafts in early 2025 is interesting. Presume yes as a Cat B so January 2025.

Wonder if Cat B additions are governed by the same salary restrictions as draftees?

I.e. first two years are set by the AFL.

You wouldn't think they would be as you may be trying to lure a mature age player from a non AFL competition. Not many will change codes for $80k a year.

If so it's who offers the best deal wins the signature.

It appears this club has flown the white flag at times since the 2018 premiership and they are hard to trust. Should win games at home but the bigger tests will come on the road. Ten wins looks a stretch.

Gilbert GARDINER: Under It could take the Eagles three seasons to win a combined 10 games. Rebuild now for the future.
