Rekindling has never excited me visually but on the exposed form he looks super well in at the weights. Going to be hard not to have something on him on the day.

Haha does he even have any pace? Replays I watched he was always out the back.

Yup - looks a solid grinder - don't think I've ever seen him show a hint of a turn of foot in my life.

He was very average at the end of 2400m in the CC, no surprises to see him run better back to 2000m today. Then 3 starts in 3 weeks for a horse suspect at the trip is not great either

curious as to your thoughts on 3 starts in 3 weeks and its correlation to being able to get distance?
