Still there is a lot to look forward to next year, even if Giles leaves..

Waiting to see the fixture, but assuming the Canberra games don't all fall during a tentative holiday, will re-sign for sure. Had a great time at all 3 manuka games (and the round 1 derby).

I'm guessing Saturday. Sunday twilight games on the east coast are usually a Western Australian home game or some Melbourne low drawers.

Email just came from the club that mentions Sat April 13 as what they 'understand' the date to be.

Excellent to hear that Canberra will be seeing some quality opposition too.

(email also mentions a pre-season Manuka game is 'expected' to be under lights to avoid the heat - lots of night time hijinks for the ACT fans!)

Victorian membership is $220 for 11 games in the AFL Reserve (all Giants games in Melbourne plus other games to make up the 11) then there's the 'supporter' membership for $50.

GA at Skoda from memory is $26 for an adult. (with 3 & 5 game memberships averaging to $25 per GA ticket plus member pack/benefits)

I think it's called Giants Insider this year, you get the member's pack (cap, card, lanyard, etc) and member's emails.

It doesn't explicitly say it but surely that would also get access to things like the 10% off merch discount.

I'm in Queensland mate it's closer to go to Skoda than Melbourne.

The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS are pleased to announce they have already signed more than 4,000 members for season 2013.

And Head Coach Kevin Sheedy says he now wants to sign more than 5000 members by Christmas.

I noticed that in the last couple of weeks the Suns only opened there 2013 membership, really think its been a good move by us that we opened ours pretty much as soon as the 2012 season ended as it gives us a nice head start and some good media to start the 2013 season on. And would have to think the 5000+ target by Christmas is really on the cards.

Happy with the ACT games for 2013, and fits my schedule perfectly. Just renewed my ACT Silver Membership. Will also try to make it up for the Round 1 derby, and the Crows game at Skoda.

If you guys sign Tippett I suspect much of Adelaide will make the journey for that game

Nice little bump today of nearly 500 more processed since the end of last week.

The club was aiming to have 5,000 by xmas, but have now revised that target to the end of this week (incorporating a promotion to be in the team photo). So, all going to plan, we'll have just about 50% of the 2012 total reached at the end of November.
