Well you did until you found out it wasn’t only North.

It’s both an Essendon and a Scott thing - and this proves that things have absolutely not changed.

We’ve had 6 less scoring shots than a team we’re 3 years per player older than at half time. Playing old has-beens got us into this mess and keeps us in it.
More fake news.

I don't know the specifics but it seems to go way back and is readily apparent now any time Kingy talks about Essendon.
At 3/4 time in Scott's last game at NM he was caught on camera very lightly shoulder checking King and calling him a c***.
Not sure grabbing McKay and Goldie, whilst rumours of us going after Zurhar persist, have helped King’s already undersized impartiality function.

Bloody hell mate, what do you want him to do? Just s**t on all the players in public? Tell the supporters, yeah, no hope this year, with this group.

The Ross Lyon situation was simple as Ant just said, he has the job at the Saints and he just wanted to be given it.

You honestly don’t believe there has been a change at the club, despite all of the evidence that shows there has been a shift?

I've said exactly what I want him to do.

Brad also gave him a clip in the press conference after that match.

I'm interested to know, from a big picture perspective, whether we played around the boundary a lot more than usual.

It would fit in with the overall approach to ground defence.

Ah yes, the old inaccurate fact argument

We can rewind back to 2023 and you can tell us who should have played, that was fit to play, in form, and not competing with someone in their spot who was better.

The end result will be (because it's already been done);

Patrick Voss could have played over Jones.

Tex Wanganeen hit a patch of form that couple have seen him selected then promptly got injured.

Literally everyone else who was fit to play, played.

It's a bad argument. No matter how many times you try to make it.

The intial statement I made was that 0/10 of our national draft picks from the last three years were in the starting 22 on Saturday. The only club in the whole comp.

It’s time to stop playing the youth/rebuilding card.

Ok, so I decided to actually dive in and go through your point.

So, I looked at the first two games last weekend, each side had the following start.

Carlton - 1/7 - Hollands
Richmond - 1/7 - Gibcus
Collingwood - 1/9 - Daicos
Sydney - 1/10 - Roberts

And that was in their 23. So we are on par with the those four teams. I stopped there cause I stopped giving a shit.

I mean, only if you're insistent on removing any and all context around things.

Funny that you insisted it be the starting 23, since it allows you to exclude Tsatas.

Also, weird that you specifically picked 3 years worth of picks, not 4 since it excludes a whole heap of our draftees.
