lol remember when he had the ball on the SACA member wing in the final and had an open Port player and just skied the ball between the opposition player and the port player like a total spud. He was in open space under no pressure when he did it too.
That one play should've just about had his bags packed and out the door.

In a big moment, he was given a chance to do what is something easy for a forward and he completely muffed it up. He pretty much did the worst thing.

The internal trial that was played yesterday.
He played in that match and the coaching staff have highlighted how important his defensive pressure is to our forward structure. I'm asking how many pressure acts did he perform in the internal trial so we can gauge his performance.
I get it, just liked your creative way of expressing it

For me it’s either DBJ or mcentee or neither absolutely can’t be both together.

cant carry 2 blokes, 1/3 of your forward line not doing much.

our depth should mean we move away from these list clogging types.
Shouldn't be either, but I can stomach the idea of DBJ because he at least vaguely has the ability to be a scoreboard threat.

Zero goals in 10 of of McEntee's 22 games as a permanent forward last year is so far below par it's not funny - even if he was actually a "pressure forward", which in reality he absolutely is not. Only had four scoring shots across the last 10 games of the year. Diabolical.

Diabolical is still not enough.

Duursma did much worse in a game decided by less than a goal.

Duursma seemed to be injured or recovering from injury the whole year.

That play by McEntee if you squint hard enough could be seen as a highlight such is the poor form he puts on the paddock.

You can't really compare the two.

But yes, Duursma hadn't been great all year including finals. There is also the possibility of not being a yes man of Kenny Average and his papers are then signed.

Maybe should have been more specific but I'm talking about the 2020 preliminary when he dropped a chest mark 10 meters our from goal

Hmm.. I did think it was 4 points

Point still stands

I don't agree anyway. Dropping a chest mark in the driving rain is perfectly understandable and the fact that it was during the second quarter of the game means it wasn't exactly a critical or momentous error despite the fact that the game was ultimately decided by a small margin.

Sounds like some are judged by different standards than others..

It was a piss poor effort.

It was 5 minutes before half time and scores were even. He kicks that and momentum goes our way.

Seems kind of critical to me in a low scoring game..

What was the score when McEntee missed his shot?

Rubbish. He did drop a mark in the rain and lights. It was 10m tops from me.

And I was sitting outside the 50m line in the sw corner.

The ball didn't slip out of his hands due to the rain

He wasn't blinded

Watch again

The ball fell right through his arms, he simply failed to execute a mark
