They really need to simplify it.
If they dont want a 3rd man up, then make it so.
If a 3rd player goes up, then the disadvantaged team gets a free kick.
This nominating and putting your hand up bullshit is trivial.

If you don't have faith in the umpires what about letting the MRP sort it out. What if, in the Monday/Tuesday review, they penalise him so many points which meant that if he did it again he misses a game. Do you reckon he'd think twice about doing it again?

I was out for dinner for my birthday, and when I walked into the place there was a bar in the corner with a TV that had the game on. An hour later I heard cheering in the distance, and a guy walks back to the table shaking his head. I asked him what the result was and he goes -

Not only does he chop the arm up, he buckles at the knees before the tackle and lead with his head towards the arm
He never had any intention to play football there
Really pissed off with watchAFL. Over in Houston for work and logged in to watch the replay this morning. One minute in it cuts to 3/4 time, then 5 minutes into the last quarter it cuts to a post-game interview with the final score showing. Pathetic.
Hope Port complain to the AFL and it causes a shit storm in the media. Get that garbage out of the game, it's been happening for years, only this time it didn't cost a team 4 points, it knocked them out of the finals! Stand up and actually do something AFL. You said you'd fine stagers, yet no fines, you said you'd stop rewarding duckers, yet Selwood and Shuey still get unlimited frees.
Think Fox footy said Shuey has had 34 free kicks this season for high contact.
That's 34 times they could have done something about it.

To stop this ongoing debate about whether the free kick was there or not.....what does the actual law say about high tackles? What is the wording? If someone could post the actual wording on here and then all of us have an accurate guide to work with.
Same time next week, something tells me this place will be much brighter

I turned on at 6am here this morning and the game was all over the place. Jumping back and forth continuously. So much so that I had to put it down and continue my sleep. Then when I woke up and pushed the "Watch from Start." button it took me to the post game show showing the replay of the Shuey incident. Ruined what sounds like a great game.

and on the decision itself, the AFL had a small window of time to do something about this tactic and they decided to make this move legal. I'm not surprised it's come to this crap.
