What are the holes? Cubs have lost their bats at a bad time. Otherwise there are no holes

Didn't you have a pitching shortage in last years post season.

If you guys lose one of the next two games you are in a better position to re load than if the Indians lose the next two games.

That's probably fair.

Although probably lose Fowler, who won't be easy to replace. Guys like Lackey, Zobrist are likely to decline. Front three of the rotation should still be strong but 4 & 5 might not be so good. We've got a great young core but if sports tell you anything it's take the opportunity when it is there and don't take for granted you will be back and strong the next season.

And is anyone major gone for Cleveland?

Got no doubt this will end with a Cleveland W. Really not hard to figure out why either, you won't get to see Drone Boy anymore. I believe we would be 3-0 when he doesn't appear in a box score.

It was a nice run for the Cubbies but the party is over. ;)

But, that's none of my business.

Also, did anyone hear what the Cubs lover Joe Buck said in the next half inning, after the Cubs scored 3 runs, when the Indians got a leadoff double? Without thinking of how great he thinks the Cubs are he said, "Here come Cleveland". What a traitor. I felt totally betrayed. I thought he only had that sort of level of hatred towards the Cubs when he is partnered with John Smoltz.

:D

Wondered how long it would take you to find that one. :p

It is all good...personally I hope the never ending bias machine rolls on...makes that 1 win even sweeter. ;)
You are closer but all I see is marketing. Pumping up a series to go all the way rather than lose money on a wash.

Naah its no different than when our Crows play Hawthorn or Geelong....national guys want the Cubbies to win. Just wait until Buck orgasms all over Schwarber being back in the lineup.

He might need to excuse himself after running down their lineup in the open. ;)

Honestly, I really don't care...it is expected and I just like having fun with it.

Needed to have a break from Baseball as I am so nerous about the Indians winning, so listen to the Ross Tucker Football Pod Cast and what do they announce:

The weekend last gone their was a second tie in 1 NFL season, the last time this happened the Indians lost the World Series in 7 games.

We might be 3-2 up but I did not need to hear that.

I honestly think it's destiny that the Cubs win this. Here's why.

16 is my favourite/lucky number. The year is 2016.

My NFL team wins the Super Bowl in Feb, 2016.

My favourite NBA player/2nd team in the Cavs win the championship in June, 2016.

My SFA Qooty team wins the premiership in 2016.

The Bulldogs, my dads team, and my very close 2nd team wins the premiership in September, 2016.

The Cubs (who are one of my 2 teams along with the Rockies) are now in the World Series. It just feels like destiny. Even tho I admittedly don't follow baseball very closely it still feels true.

This summed up Joe Buck during out NLCS series.

He does like latching onto one player and fornicating himself in the booth.

Edit: I guess links from the website Imgur.com don't work on here.

I find the complaining about bias a little strange. The cubs story is an amazing story as was the Red Sox story a decade ago as was the Cavs earlier this year. it is not bias. The cubs story is just more interesting and in the cubs case it is pretty much more interesting than any story in world sports.

I think the Indians still, but matchups not too bad for the Cubs. If it goes to Game 7 and Hendricks up against Kluber who will coming off another short break. Plus Schwarber back will give the Cubs bats a little more oomph plus send Joe Buck into delirium.

I reckon the winner of Game 6 wins it all....i.e obviously yes for Indians but I'll favour Cubs if it goes to Game 7.
