Welcome one and all to the Mobbenfuhrer Medal Red Carpet. The SFA's night of nights, the be all and end all to some of the faithful.
My name is IMS and I am here for the Red Carpet show.
Everyone knows the Mobbs Medal night is not about the players at all, rather who can show up with the hottest pic of their imaginary girl for the night.. The competition is always fierce and tonight will be no different.
All of the favorites are here tonight, except for Roys superlegend Reardo, who, despite responding in the affirmative to the invitation, was last seen dangling from the roof of a bus that had a rather shady depiction of a wolf on the side. From all reports though, he is expected to be here tonight.
As the invitees start to roll in, much of the talk outside the venue amongst the dozens of fans that have turned out, seem to be about the Hawks signing of Okeydoke. There is a real buzz around the place, the question of course, will Okey be here this evening.
The cars have started to roll in and first arrival is Jobe3Votes along with long suffering supporter Easty, lets see if we can get a word.
IMS: Easty, Who dressed you this evening?
Easty: Jobe's mum actually
IMS: Well she has done a fine job.. Who are your tips this evening?
Easty: Well, for the Dragons, it is hard to go past WAG. Sure, he has funny ears and smells terrible, but we have found that gives him an advantage on the field. The others to watch are LJP who always polls well and of course myself, all 3 of us tied for the Dragons B&F.
IMS: Well, if there is one thing we love to see from our athletes in the SFA it is modesty, good luck tonight Easty, you and the rest of your side are gonna need it!!!

Ooo yay, finally I shall live the dreams of my great great great slightly better than average wasn't taken by a bird cousin hornet and be stuffed with garlic and slow roasted to be devoured by crazy Asian people to spread my plague and finally bring a miracle to this place because those mosquitos are getting all the press lately and damnit, we are far cuter!

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Mobb medal count. Sadly due to time constraints this year’s event is a very much “no frills” event, obviously however you can already tell this since we’re sitting around a BBQ in Mobbs back yard.
Keeping the no frills theme in mind let’s just jump straight into round 1.
Round 1 saw the Hawks suffer premiership hangover going down at the hands of the Gumbies while the Wonders also suffered a Grand Final hangover going down to the Demons. The Dragons gave their fans hope that this would be their year by smashing the Roys whilst the Bombers put off season drama’s behind them to account easily for the Furies.

Round 2 in the SFA saw the competition turned on its head due to every team reversing their fortunes from the week before, lol jokes the Furies still lost, which meant that after 2 rounds only the Demons had not tasted the bitterness of defeat. Oh who won? Well the Dees beat the Furies, the Roys beat the Bombers, the Hawks beat the Dragons and the Wonders beat the Gumbies.

Round 3 saw a fascinating round of football. The Demons continued their good form by beating a disappoint Hawks team. The Gumbies lost to the Roys whilst the Dragons beat the Bombers which meant both the Gumbies and Bombers had dropped two in a row. The Furies however were continuing their season trend by losing to the Wonders.

Round 4 saw the Demons finally drop a game when they lost to the Gumbies in a tight affair. But that was nothing compared to the Furies heartbreak when they got within 1 point of upsetting the Dragons. In other games the Wonders got the points against the Roys whilst the Hawks title defence was left in tatters when they lost to the Bombers.

Round 5 saw the Demons get back on the winners list to continue their impressive start to the year. The Roys did what everyone else had done by accounting for the Furies, the Hawks continued to be horrible and were well beaten in the GF rematch and the Gumbies got the points over the Bombers.

Last years count turned into a 2 horse race so let’s hope it doesn’t happen again or it may make for a boring count. However has anyone noticed the pattern? If you have then Round 6 may prove interesting for you.
Speaking of last years count both Shallow and Larrikin are well placed early and with the Hawks improving late in the year it would be foolish to write Larrikin off yet or even Boncer34 who is sitting pretty.
