Posting Stats - End of Season

Season 35 is finally over. Officially. For the Demons.
And it ended exactly as we all would have expected: another well earned loss.

We finished with a season low 315 posts in Round 18, which was no surprise. Our season was pretty much over by the time we got to our second bye, and posting numbers dropped from everyone at the club. Despite this, we still had 17 posters contributing in the final round.

Looking at the season as a whole, we averaged 19.94 posters per week in what was a Bradmanesque end. All we needed was one more poster to not get 0 and we'd have averaged 20 posters per week.

Wosh settled in beautifully and led the team in her first season at the Demons and was the only player in the team to see out the season with posting numbers higher than her average in the final round.
I was the luckiest player in the SFA in Season 35, having the pleasure of posting against the most enjoyable team in the SFA every single round. As a result, my numbers were probably slightly up on previous seasons. And so was my win/loss ratio.
Headless, manangatang, Hate, Tarkyn_24, sante and cooney made up the usual core of consistent posters while both players involved in the mid-season trade (Callums_Guns and Greenery) were key contributers during their time as Demons.

It was great to see Yakker back with higher levels of activity than in recent times. He, along with moginie and DERO, didn't miss a single week.
cartwright also posted every week in what was a very promising first season, and Johnny Karate also hit the ground running. It's unfortunate the rest of the team was winding down at the end of the long season when he joined.

Bluelegs, PMBangers, Marlowe and DemonJim all had great periods of activity but also dropped off at other times, and Proper Gander's return looked promising before real life cut her season short.

jmoo wan, Van_Dyke and cats2rise were around most weeks and were probably all seen even more in the team thread and the team PM than in match threads.

Quivorir and Azarole appeared enough to get a run in matches. Quiv especially did well onfield, and we would have loved to have seen either of them active enough to hold their positions.
Oddhawk and Heardy_101 also popped in a couple of times. Hope to see more from both next season.

Overall, the Demons had a total of 27 posters for the season and averaged 521 posts per game, just over 50% of all posts in all Demons match threads for Season 35.
To have this level of activity in a season that had no periods of onfield success at any time shows the pure quality of the people we have at the Demons. I wouldn't be surprised if the posting at the Demons steps up even more in Season 36 if we see something that even resembles a good onfield season.

Enjoy the off-season break everyone. Time to refresh.

Hello Cadsky,

Are you interested in joining the Mount Buller Demons?

Kind Regards,
Hate
Not at this point in time, friend. According to the very exciting spreadsheet I am currently working on for my Admin campaign, you've got too many active posters as it is.

The only spreadsheet an Admin-hopeful needs is the one that says we have one too many clubs in the Sweet Football Association. o_O

Hard to disagree with that. But I assure you, the plans I have in place have NEVER been done before in SFA history. I am gong to revolutionize the SFA and bring it back to the glory days. Strap yourself in, it's going to be a wild ride!

The Sweet Football Association operates just fine, thank you.

Kennedy Parker you have told Cadsky that you no longer subscribe to this ridiculous idea of a 3-season term, yeah?
I'm confused by the framing of the question Hate. Whether I subscribe to the idea of a 3-season term or not, why might that be relevant to Cadsky?

Hate doesn't want me in charge for 3 seasons, yet he doesn't even know what my plans are. jumping to conclusions as usual

Look at the bright side, we can have a lovely 3 season rest from the Sweet FA and join Tarkyn_24 ’s new League, the Dear FA, with Headless bringing in the Little Fishes, I’ll bring in the Koalas, you bring in the mighty Hawks, and DERO can bring in the Little Boys…

Food for thought.

This is very thoroughly satiating.

The glory days had 5 page match threads, no player tags and no reaction buttons. Can't wait :thumbsu:

So OOB’s v Royals
Warriors v Wonders

Also jump in the charity match for The Sikh volunteers, we are running 2 concurrently on our board and the invitational on the GD board.

If you don’t know about the Sikh volunteers please jump on their website and have a look, they are always first and frontline to any disaster or time of need…their work during the catastrophic bushfires and floods especially was outstanding. They are a really worthy cause to throw a few dollars towards, we all might need them some day :)
