In this thread somewhere, but yeah free entry for members. It will also get you into the night game between Hawthorn and North.
Book in advance or just rock up at the gates?

I find this an interesting view. Preface it by saying I am a fan of Marsh and hope he can really develop. Still l think it's an example of where a young guy develops quickly at a club, gets thrust into big jobs immediately, gets downgraded because he doesn't show much flair.

Frost for mine has to be rated the better talent. He has now played around 40+ games the majority as a 1st or 2nd KPB. He hasn't had the luxury or being the third tall, has had to play on many big names. Given people are always saying it takes 50+ games for a player to feel comfortable at the level surely Frost has scope to improve significantly as his experience grows. It's almost like he gets marked down for stepping into really tough roles early and being able to hold them down.

Marsh, as much as I like him, is seen to have more potential because he hasn't been put to the same exacting tests. Think Frost may surprise a few this season with how much more development he has in him
Two different players who can't be compared in my opinion. Frost has the bulk and closing speed to play on players like Hawkins and Franklin, whereas Marsh is more creative and attacking as the third man down.

not sure if this has been mentioned, but can anyone confirm if club members can scan their membership card to attend the nab3 Pies vs Dogs game at etihad?

cheers!:)
I tried buying tickets at Ticketek online and it wouldn't accept my Collingwood barcodes. It did accept my AFL membership codes to buys tickets so I think the answer to your question is no.

Looking over our VFL team for the game against Footscray, Knight wore #14 last match, but is listed as #28 this week. Perhaps an indication that Aish will be one of the 3 omissions?

Maybe but could be Looking into it too Much.

IF Aish Plays VFL I reckon he will be one of the BOG's

Just checked the schedule for tonight. Correct me if i'm wrong, but why is there a match scheduled for 5:50pm local time? What idiot does that?

Good luck to those trying to drive to Etihad during peak hour.

THE AFL have Morons working there

I thought that too.
But it is Carlton, so nobody will turn up unless gluttons for punishment

I am anticipating seeing multiple roast threads on Sunday morning. Toovey, Cloke and White to be the most likely subject matter....oh and of course Buckley's future.
If there are no Roast Threads on Sunday, then I will open a Roast Thread about the lack of Roast Threads.

If Witts was playing the game 15 years ago he would be known as one of the best in the business but the game has evolved and requires so much more from ruckmen than it used to. Previously above average tap work and 1 goal a game would see you as a star. Now, you need agility, average x amount of disposals, tackles, pressure indicators.

This isn't to say he isn't rated at all, though.

Witts is far more agile than Sandilands and about 1 million times better below his knees. What he is vastly inferior at (at this stage) is his body work, and contested marking, tap work and pretty much everything else. Sandilands, Cox and Goldstein in any order have been the best ruckmen of the past 15 years or so.

I also think the 90's produced some good ruckmen, Scott Wynd and Jim Stynes won brownlows, whilst Rehn, Monkhourst, Salmon, Madden, were all pretty good.

But I do see what you mean, how would Spider Burton go today? I'm not so sure.

I miss the days where the instructions were for the ruckmen to drop back in the hole. Now the instructions are to make the oppositions forward line a 'cluster ****'.

Or maybe the answer is yes because it is Ticketek. I don't have an AFL membership, surely my Collingwood membership card should be good enough at the gates?

I heard tonight that up to 20 players have been hit by the bug. Expect some players to miss and others look flat.
Bitten by the bug

That was on the CTV Update saying some players where Sick so I guess a Loss would not be a Big Surprise
